Default Coloring House Mouse?

You guys are awesome inspiration. I was looking in the gallery at the House Mouse cards. So, now that I'm stamping a variety of images I'd like to know your recommendations please.....

What colors do you recommend when you're coloring the House Mouse images?

I would like to use either Prisma pencils/gamsol or Copics.

Thanks much!

Ginger

If you go here: http://www.house-mouse.com/php/amanda.php and scroll down a bit, they give a description of each mouse. It's the official HM, "meet the mice" page. HTH

I have used my colored pencils and my WCC's - both work great for me depending on the look I am going for

Default Guess...

I need to clarify--

If you are using Prismas--which pencils?

If you are using Copics--which markers?

I keep trying different combos and not having much luck, but maybe I'm being too picky.

TIA,
Ginger

I only use the chalk on mine, the markers are too dark for me. I use a light beige for the stomach, face, hands and feet and a light brown for the body.

My colored pencils are Crayola - they blend well for me and I have a large set of them - I use the flesh colored for stomach, face and hands, and the medium brown the for mouse.

When I use my WCCs (I only have a small set) I again use the flesh tone for stomach, face and hands and the brown for the mouse. When I use my WCC's I color on an old CD then pick up the color with my aqua painters so I can control how dark or light the color is and I can get more shades with the limited colors I have.
