Hi girls,
Can anyone tell me what they color their shrink plastic with? Markers or colored pencils? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Mea :?

Default polyshrink

Hi Ya!
You can color poly a couple of ways... I tend to use chalks.
Stamp your Stazon of course and when dry lightly chalk the image. You could use markers... however, it won't ever dry... so I am not sure how you would keep it from smudging before you sealed it...
I would assume that you could also color with the chalk pads. And I have used fabrico markers and "colored" with craft pads... just remember that the color intensifies as it shrinks. Hope it helps!

I like the chalks also, be careful with finger prints they will show up like a sore thumb after you shrink. I like the Craft pad to stamp then blot 3 or 4 times before I color. Use Crystal Effects or Glassy Glaze to seal your finished project.

I like colored pencils. I used the plain crayola ones and the colors were bright and just awesome.

okay . . .I've actually used regular old craft pads and my SU! markers and never had smudging or trouble with the final piece. Maybe I've just been lucky . . .

If using the chalks, I use a q-tip or an eye make up applicator. Sometimes you can find the pointy, cheap q-tips at the dollar store.

Colored pencils and Sharpies work well. It just depends on the look you want.

Everyone else is right, what ever you do the color will greatly intensify after it's shrunk.
I like chalks and colored pencils best.
