I know how to do this myself so I will give you directions myself...
open Microsoft Word, make sure you pick Times Roman and set at 400 point size. That will make the font same size as SU monogram letter. To print it, set it on mirror image and outline setting. Then hit the print button, it should be printed backwards and in outline. You cut with either scissor or exacto knife! And then roll the brayer on the ink pad and then on the cut letter. Should look just like stamped SU monogram image. Good luck!
I was following along.....I have two printers, on one of my printers, an HP deskjet, in the print menu you click on properties and the mirror image is there and you click on it and it works. On my other printer, which is a laser printer, nowhere in the print menu do you have the option to click on mirror image. I am sure it can be done but I don't know where. Maybe someone with a laser printer will answer this thread. Did you find the outline function okay?
My printer does not show the mirror image option. I create the letter in Word Art and resise it to what I want. I then go to Draw, then go to Flip, and then Flip horizontally.
Awesome! Thanks Jestermann and Laura, especially for the directions on how to do the outline and then flip it. My printer didn't have the option but I am familiar with wordart. ;)

OK, this is only slightly related, but does anyone know the name of a font or two (preferably free) that approximate the Headline alphabet? I made some name frames for my nephews using letters I die cut at archivers, but kind of wanted to play around with that concept a bit more without buying the alphabet.

AND.... if you just print the letter the regular way, (not mirror) you could cut it out, paste it to chipboard, cut that out, and then "alter" the letter anyway you feel like it....?!
Customized chipboard letters at a fraction of the price ~~~!
okay dumb question.. but why do you need it to print the mirror image? i'm not getting that part for some reason.. haha thanks to who ever can help me. ;)
