For my great rewards points I want the metallic pencils but I am also thinking it might be nice to have a second brayer ( mine is stained black. Am thinking I would use that for dark colors and the new onw for lighter colors) and you can never have too many spectrum pads. What are your experiences/suggestions?

Personally, I would probably go for the second brayer. I have the metallic pencils and have only used them twice. There's not a huge range of color, and you have to get it in the right light for it to even look good. But that is only my opinion. Mabey I am just a bad colorer!
I bought "other" metallic pencils, just to see if I would use them much before I got the SU ones....I used them once....they have been sitting in a drawer for almost 2 years!
I got the metallic pencils w/my GW points and haven't used them much. I also got the Pure Color Pencils & LOVE them. I would vote for them if you're looking for pencils, but a second brayer would be SUPER handy, especially if you're doing lots of stamp camps.

Can I ask what is different about pure color pencils? I was tempted to get them with GW, but I have Berol Prismacolors and several other sets as well --
Other than it being entirely made of lead without the wood casing, how do they color? Lots of opaque pigment laid down easily? Blendable? Vibrant colors or muted? Do they work well on colored cardstock as well as white? What else is good about them that I would love or don't know?

Thanks!!!
I would like to know this too!

I am having a hard time deciding what to do with my Great Rewards points too, I am only Level 1 but are the pencils worth it?? I don't have the prismacolor ones because what use would they be to me as a demo. I don't want to spend money when I don't need to. I am going to hold off for a bit yet and make sure I make the right choice!!
