I subscribed to this mag when the Stampin' Up! promotion was announced for the free mini stamp kit and have received 2 mags so far and no free kit so I called them today and found out that I was not even listed to get this promotion even though I used the link SU supplied. So if you have not received your kit I would suggest you give Country Living Mag a call and verify you are getting the kit. Now I have to wait an additional 4 to 6 weeks for it to arrive.
Well, that stinks! I was just getting ready to call when mine came, but then I had called them with my subscription to make sure I would get the set. (It really is a cute little thing, lol!) DEFINITELY call if it's been more than 4 weeks.
Thanks for the heads up! I like to be forewarned of a possible glitch in any system. I really wanted that stamp when it was in the catalog, but refused to buy the whole kit. Sometimes it does pay to be patient.
I also subscribed to Country Living in early September, have now received two magazines (November and December), but still no stamp kit. I emailed the company through their website and just today received the following reply:
"The request for your free gift is being processed. You should receive
your free gift in the next six to eight weeks.
We apologize for the delay."
I didn't realize I needed to "request" my free gift.
Looks like I won't have mine in time for Thanksgiving or Christmas! And to think that I almost ordered this as a gift subscription for a family member, too.
I sent my subscription card and check for the payment on October 30th === my free stamp set arrived in the mail today.
Now waiting patiently for them to update the website so that can register for the sweepstakes to win the stamp kit from the 7 page spread in the December issue! (they still have the info for the November issue and those sweepstakes on the website).
I just did it over the phone, because I already have (had) a subscription to CL, and I wanted to make sure I could have them just add on to my existing subscription (for the $12) and still get the set (just in case it was for new subscribers only). She actually processed it as we spoke, which is nice because otherwise I'm sure it wouldn't have gone through. It shouldn't be such a headache!
I signed up online and paid with my credit card thinking I would get it quicker. I guess I should have sent a check!
Hi Jacque! How's it going? I did the same thing and emailed them to see what was up. They emailed me back a few days later and then mailed out the stamp set a week or two later. Silly me, I signed up for the mag to get the cute set! :-D
I emailed them too having paid in September. I got the typical canned email saying it was being processed. Aggravating! I guess I am glad I only bought one year.
I wasn't aware of this promotion but did sign up for a subscription recently and am on my 3rd month. I love the magazine but am disappointed because the stores in my area sale the current issue about a week or so before I recieve mine in the mail. It seems like one of the perks of being a subscriber is getting your magazine before or at least at the same time it hits the market.
Hmmmm, I also ordered the magazine for the SU stamp promotion. I received to magazines, yet no stamp set yet. Thanks for the advice, I just went to their website and filled out an email request form. Hopefully I will receive it soon. :(

Isn't that soooooo irritating, lol? That happens with all my magazines anymore, and I really don't like it....
How long after you subscribed did you get your first magazine? I still haven't gotten the stamp set, but was told via email on the 10th of Nov. that it would be a few weeks. However, I would like to see the article of Stampin' Up! products...is that the December issue??
That happened to me too. I signed up on the link, got 2 mags and no kit. I called and was told that it wasn't in the system to get the kit. So she had to process it. I was told 6 to 8 weeks.
yes the December one has the SU products in it. Just got my Dec issue a few days ago.
I signed up for the $5 subscription and have only received the November issue. Have no idea when I will get my December issue. I'm not thrilled with their service as of yet.
I signed up about a month ago (on-line w/ credit card), received the stamp set 2 weeks ago - still no magazine! That's okay - the stamp set was what I really wanted!
