Default Cowboy decorations/favors ideas??

I could use a little (ok, a lot!) of help from you creative people! My lil bro is getting married on May 19 in AZ (I live in MN) and the planning and such isn't going real well down there, so I've offered to help.

I've been asked to take care of the favors and decorations. It's an outdoor (Red Rock State Park in Sedona) wedding with a western theme. I have the Yeehaw! set and the Cowboy Kid set. If there is anything you can think of that would be cool with either of those--or neither of those--that would be great. We're looking for cool and cheap--or I should say cheap and cool!

We're thinking of buckets of root beer barrels on the tables, maybe straw hats turned upside down and a potted cactus in each one---any help would be hugely appreciated!!

TIA!!

I love the root beer barrels idea! Will you be putting them in little metal buckets? Maybe tie some hemp by the handle...you could stamp an image and adhere it to the bucket somehow. Have you tried oriental trading? They have some western stuff, I think. Hmmmm...Is there a color scheme?

Thanks, Missy--the hemp idea would be really cute and would add to the buckets. As for as color scheme--the bridesmaids's dresses are a coral color. My future SIL is a sweetie, but not real detail oriented!

DRS Designs has a cool cowboy boot stamp - it's actually a pair of boots on one stamp...I have a few samples in my gallery...you can find DRS at
www.drsdesigns.com
They have some others too, that I don't have...check them out!

Sounds like a fun wedding to plan...unfortunately I don't have any other ideas for you! Good luck though! Be sure to post what you come up with!!

you could use any or all of the following to decorate the tables...
bandanas, rope, horse shoes, scraps or pieces of leather, cowboy boots...

sounds like fun- enjoy!
