Default Craft Fair Help

I have been asked to come up with something for a craft fair that my daughter's freshman class could sell to generate some money for their treasury.
The school has an annual Holiday Show the weekend before Thanksgiving. It is well advertised and well attended. The regular crafters are all in the gym, they pay a fee for the space and it is juried.
The classes and clubs can sell in the cafeteria.

I was thinking of having the kids make sets of gift tags, using SU!'s Perfect Presentation set.

Here's what I need help with:
How many tags per bag?
How many sets to make?
What's a good price?
Do you think we can get more for them because they will be seen as a fundraiser for the kids?

TIA for your help!

I haven't done a craft fair yet but my guess is the fact that it's a fundraiser won't make a difference to most people. They will probably be looking for a bargain no matter what.

I've seen others here say that they sell gift tags as a set of 10 for $2.50 and that they can't make enough of them. That's what I'm planning to do.

I have been invited to participate in our local high school craft fair this spring. It is a "juried" craft fair, very well advertised and very well attended. This is their 24th year. Can you tell me what a "juried" craft fair is? Not sure what the word means. Also, any ideas that have worked for Spring Craft Fairs where the focus wouldn't be on selling Christmas-type things????

A 'juried' show means that they will want to see your work before you are allowed to participate in the craft show. Some ask for scans, others for pictures and others want samples of the items that you will be selling. In the past I never would try of these types of shows ... but now I am! I have been so pleased with the different quality of the venders and then the customers. I have been able to increase my sales from around $2-300 per show to $6-900 per craft show. I would definitely do the juried shows if I were you. Blessings
