I have noticed that quite a few of you seem to use the craft ink for stamping the large background stamps. Could you please explain the advantage of this to me!
Craft ink covers the stamp easier. I think because it's a little "goopier" it covers large stamps and block-type stamps better than classic. It makes it a little less time consuming to ink the stamp, plus the results are a more evenly stamped image.
Since pigment ink (which is what craft ink is) stays wet longer you can ink up the background stamps better and they don't dry as quickly as dye based (classic) ink does. When you use Classic ink you have to get the stamp inked quickly and stamp before the ink dries and that is one advantage to Craft inks on background stamps since backgrounds are so large.
