Craft & Rubber Scissors Tip

At some time and place (I think it was here) I read a tip about putting something on the blades of the craft and rubber scissors before trimming your rubber stamps in order to make the blade glide more smoothly through the rubber AND make it easier to clean the sticky gunk off afterward. Anyone?

Well the blades cut smoothly without anything on them!! But after they get gunky, I use UN-DO, and it take s all the sticky off and doesnt leave a residue. I could go on for hours about what UN-DO can do!!

I also use UN DO - it works great!

I use goo gone - same principle as the un-do. Anyway, I always clean my sicssors after cutting the rubber.

Rub them on your Versamark first!

I use rubbing alchohol.

If you rub them on your Versamark pad before cutting a lot of the sticky stuff doesn't stick. After they're sticky you can use a variey of products to remove the gunk--un-do, alcohol, acetone, any solvent really.

I clean mine with nail polish remover... it works great.
