Default Cuttlebug Memory Loss

How sad is this? I got my very first set of nesties 2 days ago and have been going crazy playing with them. I went to run an embossing folder thru the bug, and couldn't remember the "sandwich." Ridiculous, isn't it?

Aren't the nesties so much fun?? I recently treated myself to the full set of circles; and then purchased two different oval sets at Hobby Lobby this week, using coupons

So, did your memory come back--or do you need a little boost?? A plate, B plate, folder, B plate

I do the same thing when I switch back and forth. But for embossing folders, it's just A, B, embossing folder, B plate.

Hi! It's A plate, B plate, cutting die (foam side up), your cardstock or any medium, B plate

Hope this helps!

Just wanted to add that I use a scrap piece of "chipboard" aka cereal box on top of the cardstock. It saves the B plate from so many cuts and embosses better than the tan mats that I purchased.

My friend Nancy gave me some help:
C is for Cutting and B is for emBossing. I've remembered it since she told me that.

Everything needs one A and one B, and I do remember the tan mat all by myself:rolleyes: and mine does need a chipboard shim.

All I can say is keep practicing-it may imprint on your brain-hasn't worked for me:mrgreen:

The Spellbinders website has the "sandwich recipes" and so does Nichole at Papertrey.....

I know the sandwich layers are "simple" but I just can't seem to remember when I switch back and forth and do the Nesties, and then the Cuttlebug dies and folders.

I finally made a little "cheat sheet" on a piece of cardstock and keep it with my Cuttlebug to refer to.
