How sweet! But wow, four refills on 40 card fronts! Let me guess, he uses a lot of tape when he wraps Christmas presents to huh? ;) Your cottage is adorable! Lucky girl!

ps. Ladies, he is not for sale nor is he available to chat as he is washing my car and filling it with gas so I don't have to stop and fill up on the way to work tomorrow. He has no brothers either. :-)
This statement cracked me up... So Okay, he's NOT available...How about weekend long, or even an afternoon long, training seminar for those of us who THINK our man could be "trained" ;)
Seriously though, what a keeper you have!!! Love your cottage, are you going to share the interior with us before we ruin our keyboards by drooling over them wondering what could be inside?????
Isn't it funny what our DHs get into! I was watercoloring an image from Changing Seasons last weekend with an aquapainter and ink refills when my DH came in, I asked him what he thought because he always gives me good color advice. He asked if I minded if he gave it a shot. I said I didn't mind, stamped a new image for him, explained the aquapainter and the inks, and left him to it. An HOUR AND A HALF later I had a perfectly colored covered bridge image. He went so far to redraw some of the stamped image lines that got lost in all the color he used. WOW!

The guy is an adhesive freak! Is that what your cute little cottage is held together with? He did a great job on that so Id let him use all the adhesive he wants! I never get in my husbands way when he is building for my stamp room. He has some great ideas too!
Its nice when they show an interest in what we like to spend our time on. JW, your story was nice too. My guy just builds things, no stamping involved!
your cottage is the cutest thing I've ever seen!! WOW!! If I had it, I'm afraid I'd just lock myself in and not come out!! Please share pics of the inside.

p.s. could your husband give seminars on being a wonderful, stampin' wife-supporter??
Jael your cottage is adorable! we've just gotta see more pics of it on the inside! and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see pics of what your DH did too. posting to a gallery is easy. you just go to the gallery home, and click on upload photos. then you click on browse and find the file to post, and hit submit files. then you can add whatever comments and supplies you want to, and hit submit. then when they're approved you have a gallery where everyone can admire your wonderful work. or you could just attach some more pics here. either way we want to see! Thanks for the good laugh. he's a keeper

I love the Sahara sand part - mine is the husband that tells my son that there is no such thing as teal only green and blue!

My husband wouldn't know Sahara Sand from any other color and would be totally clueless about SNAIL. My 'tools,' however, intrigue him.
You have a seriously super spouse! The cottage is lovely. Makes me rethink our summer kitchen...hmm. Husband loves tools. Got extra building... Best be off to bake an apple pie to soften him up...
Seriously, you caught a good'n. Please post piccy's of the inside of your stamping castle.
Rainsong--off to collect towels to pass on to other members to keep the drool under control.
I think you could make PLENTY OF STAMPIN'CASH rentin' him out like "scrappiemommie" said...oooh the possibilities!
he'd be bigger than Dr. Phil!
Take his show on the road, and offer help to all the wives and their loveable DH-es for whom the D & the H together stand for "duh!"
I'd sign up my dh, or shall we call it , havin' him 'COMMITTED!" ?
LOL!!!

This makes me want to run out and find a husband. Maybe we could have a new reality show. Pick a husband based on his stamping knowledge. Of course he would have to be able to build stampin things to. (Stamp cottages, stamp pad holders, etc.)
I saved this thread and was hoping to see more photos of your adorable stamping cottage, what a lucky person you are to have sucha cute stamping place, just curious are you in a warm climate that you dont need to heat the space??
Too funny!! (the story) Cool that he is willing to help you!
THE COTTAGE!!! TOO TOO CUTE! I need one of those that is on wheels so when we move I can just tow it right behind the truck!!!! HMMMM maybe he could make some extra cash selling the plans to the cottage!!!!

Jael, thanks for uploading pics of your cute cottage to your gallery. I was disappointed that there wasn't a picture of your convention swap, the famous Sahara Sand card! Can you do that one, too, pretty please?
OK, I'm jealous. My hubby wouldn't know anything about my stamping. I love the cottage. It's beautiful. I have a scrapbook room, but it's nothing compared to the cottage. Wish I had one of them. Direct TV too. I don't have a TV in my scap room. :(

What a sweetheart! That's funny about the tape...guess he wanted to make sure everything stuck really, really well.
I was half asleep the other night and my dh came in after being on the computer, which shares a room with my stamp stuff, and asked when I was going to give him a card-making lesson. He must have been snooping around all my stuff. The first thing I said was, "Okay, what is it that you want or what did you do?" LOL. He actually wants to make a card.
Oh, and I'm totally jealous of your cottage! Awesome!
Now if my dh did anything like this (making cards) I would fall over dead. I always show him my cards and he just says........It's ok.
But if he makes something he wants my approval....And I always say it's ok. He is finally getting the message...Now if I show him a card, He ask how I did and why I made it and where's it going. And I tell him....Man do I have him trained or what?
I've dreamed of having a Cottage like your's.........;)
