Default DELIGHT

Hi chicks,

I was wondering what occasion you all use the DELIGHT stamp from the sell-a-bration set (dang if I can remember the name right now). Some people think it's sort of a weird word for a card. I didn't have a problem with it until I started getting feedback.

Just wondering what ya all do with a little DELIGHT!

Deanna

On the inside:
Hope your birthday is filled with delight!
Or:
Hope your special day is delightful!

I thought the same thing but it didn't stop me from getting the set. I have all the sets and Paint Prints is by far my favorite. Delight in it.

I wanted to make my husband a Valentine's card that says Delight Tonight? with a yes or no check box. Too racy, ya think?

I think it will be cute for baby cards. (of course, I have baby on the brain since my SIL's Baby Shower is in two days!)

Too stinkin cute, Michelle! Reminds me of the song "Afternoon Delight," from my high school days! I had a girlfriend, and that was her song  ! Guess no need to figure out how they spent lunch hour!
Probably too much information, but your post just brought it back like it was yesterday...........and it was actually over 26 years ago.

Valerie, it reminds me of the same thing. That would be in the late 70's. Michelle, that's a great idea to funny.

You consider that racy???????

I once gave mine a card that said "You are cordially invited to a Black Tie Event."

Inside: "Just Black Tie; no other attire required."

P.S. I think you should.

My DH would fall over if I did that! Although once I did send him on a treasure hunt.............

I used the "delight" stamp on the front of a card. It was meant for the receiver to feel happy when they saw it.

Julie HRR -

My husband would love to get a card like that! I may have to use the idea . . . . if you don't mind.

I wondered how to use that word too. Here's a few ways that I found. I hope they help.

Delight in the beauty that surrounds you.

Laughter, Joy, and Kindness are the herbs to gladden the heart and delight the soul.

Of all things that inspire and delight, the best to behold is nature in flight!

Does it ever amaze and delight you that of all the places in the world - cool grassy nests under hedgerows, warm patches of sun on a carpet - the cat chooses to sit on your lap?

There is no season such delight can bring
As summer, autumn, winter and the spring.
