Default Delivery time for orders

I just placed an order with my demo and she said that it may take up to 2 weeks to get my order! Something about SU moving the factory to the same place as the headquarters. Has anyone else had this problem? I hadn't seen anything on here, and you ladies are pretty good about keeping us informed.

It's hard enough to wait 7 days for my new stamps, let alone 14!!!

Hi Wendy,
Sadly it is very true. Go to www.StampinUp.com to read a short write up about it.

While it's true SU! is having some growing pains during this move, I'm sure we can all understand!!! I have moved many times, and rarely does moving to a new place go smoothly!!! I equate it with waiting to open Christmas presents when you are young - it takes a while longer then what you would like, but when it happens - it's worth the wait!! ~Pam

I placed an order Monday and it's picking now...so the wait time is getting better, but yes, shipping times are longer than normal right now.

SU is working on moving their warehouse and has run into a few snags.

Hang in there and it should be better soon...and then they'll be shipping faster than ever.

Things are improving, even as we speak, Wendy! It has been a very difficult time but SU is getting caught up finally...don't worry, it'll be worth the wait!

Hugs,
Betsy

Location, location, location ~ and right now SU has 2!! Things are definitely improving. SU's been the best in getting orders to us in the past and this transition has been painful to say the least. Things are definitely picking up, but still a little slow. Hopefully soon we'll be back to that really quick turn around we're all so used to.

I ordered a Pampered Chef item about 2 years ago and the wait time was for-ev-er! Like three weeks. SU still has the best shipping times in the business.

I placed an order with my demo and she called me the day after because she forgot to tell me that there was going to be a little longer wait for my stamps. She didn't want to deposit my check until she asked if I still wanted her to order it with the wait being longer. But then she also told me it wasn't the stamps as much as the things that stampin up gets from other companies. Is this correct??
Well it doesn't really matter I want the stamps anyway and as long as i have them in time for my christmas cards i am okay with it. ( Although i would like to have had them yesterday lol )

For some things, yes. They're having a couple of quality control issue for imported items not meeting their standards. She can check the backordered list and see if anything you specifically ordered is listed. If it's not on the list, something may still be backordered, but it should only be for a short while.
