If you previously applied to the demos only forum and are sending the verification to me, please reapply under USER CP (upper left hand side) then scroll down. I am not able to manually put people in, so I need for you to reapply to get you in more quickly.

Hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by making a quick how-to!
To apply to join the demo-only list:
Click on "User CP" at the upper left
In the "Control Panel" box there are several categories for options...
Under "Micellaneous" click on the option "Group Memberships"
There's a box that says "The following groups are available for you to join"
To the right of "SU! Demonstrators" click on "Join Group"
I think you need to be verified to join, so camsmom will send instructions on how to do that, then she'll be able to approve your membership in the demo-only group!

This is for a bump. Thanks, Belinda - it was easy thanks to your directions. I didn't expect my demo # to show up on the screen though. From what I read on the SU! web site, we are suppose to keep that under wraps although I saw several others putting theirs out there. I guess you have to know the password to use it. Camsmom, as soon as I get approved, I'd like this to go away so that I am best "obeying " SU!'s rules.
I don't ask for/see your demo number when you send the verification
I am not sure where you saw your number:confused:
I would not ask people for their number, and when you are asked for teh demo verification I still don't see your number on the main page you have to send.

Ok Camsmom - good to know. I went back and it is on the screen but under my user CP. I read that you guys would be needing my demo # so I typed it in when I had to give the reason I was requesting to be part of this group. I have seen several others post their # but it was also for trying to get in the demo forum. I am just a rule follower and didn't want to have my hand slapped again tonight.
okay just sent bunch of PMs out for people applying for the SU demos forum.
Just a reminder that you MUST have checked the box under user CP that allows you to receive Private Messages and it is a great idea to check your private messages within 24 hours of applying. IF you send in the verification and within 24 hours are not able to get into the forum, please PM me or e-mail me again. Once verifications are sent it is usually less than 24 hours for me to get you approved.
Also a reminder that the forum is for CURRENT SU DEMOS THAT HAVE THEIR DEMO ID NUMBER, not people who:
*are planning on becoming demos in the future
*want to "check it out" before becoming demos
*are demos for other home businesses

DEMOS ONLY FORUM
If you click on your name, you can see your user profile - it shows you are a member of the RAK group as well as the demo forum.
