Tamara, there's only a couple of places around. Scrapbook Barn in Carrollton, and Scrappin' Bunnies in McKinney are ones i know of that have crop areas and of course sell scrapbook supplies but I haven't heard much about them for stamping I've only been to the Barn. I think there is another one in Colleyville too. Then there are some local retreats: Creative Cottage in McKinney and also Memory Lane Inn in McKinney is brand new. I've stayed at CC but not the new one. I've heard Imprints stamp store in FW has a great selection of stamp lines and they have a classroom but not sure how big. I buy alot of my supplies online if I can't find them in the stores with coupons

hola! i'm in watauga, just northeast of fort worth!! about 30 minutes from arlington. as far as hookups for a cropping space, good luck!! now that all the local scrapbook stores (fw area) have closed, there's nothin! i suggest finding a CM consultant and hooking up with them to see if they hold monthly crops. and an fyi on imprints....GREAT stamp store. they must have a million stamps to choose from (literally)! however, the classroom and store itself is quite small and cozy, very laid back. have fun at jen's class! it will be great, i'm sure!
I live just south of Dallas. We're missing Recollections HORRIBLY! My girlfriend and I had a weekly girls night to go and just play. :(
I do love Imprints, and recently discovered Scrappin Bunnies while I was in McKinney for work one day...she has fabulous stuff! Not a ton of stamps, but great alterables and huge selection of paper.
I'm in Frisco a lot and can't wait for that store to open. Will you make sure to post info when it does?
Tamara, there are lots of stampers and scrapbookers in the DFW area! I've been living in Carrollton for the past 12 years or so. Emily and JackieG hosted a fantastic card swap in Arlington earlier this month. If they do it again next year, that would be a great place to meet a lot of stampers in one day. Here's a link to the forum that was running for that event. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Will anyone be at the Great American Scrapbook convention this weekend in Arlington? I'll be cruising it Saturday morning. I just saw this posted in the "get it together" thread: okiegyrl will be working the EMBELLISH IT! booth during the show so stop by and say hi and trade an ATC card with her.
It'll be fun to look for familiar faces I've seen on avatars
I found these stores but I have never been to any of them. Let me know if any of them have gone out of business and I will remove the listing.

I don't know about out of business, but I know this one is a residential address - it may be an at-home business or consultant for one of the companies, but if you're looking for places to drive around and check out, it's probably not a good one.
I just checked out the one in Forney yesterday -- it's a cute store and the people are very friendly. They had a very small selection of stamps -- the brand escapes me at the momemt -- it's the clear sets that Target mostly sells.
She had a wall of little plastic drawers -- selling brads and other bling by the piece. I bought a bunch of cool ribbon that I'd never seen before!

My DD and I will be there sometime Saturday. We are looking forward to it!

Thanks for the update on this!
I just tried to edit it out and wasn't able to. I will check back later try to fix it!
