Default Did you like this stamp set?

Girl Talk (2002-2003 catty)
A friend of mine gave it to me to make cards to give to my church. At first I thought it looked like a great set to make cards for the 'church ladies' at the church, but it's growing on me. I've made several cards with it now. I still don't think it's my style, but I really like it!! Does that make sense?

Anyway, it got me to thinking, people are always saying, "I don't think they'll retire that set...it's new to this year's catalog." But so was this one, and it was gone the next year's catty.

This is what I love about stamps. I can rediscover something that was under my nose the whole time in my collection, get creative, and make something great with a set I didn't even think I liked!!

Has this ever happened to you?

Yep! I didn't think there was any reason why I wanted Paint Prints and after seeing just one example, I wanted it. Now, I wonder what I was thinking?

:P
