I just cleaned one of my newer die cut SU stamps and the rubber has peeled away from the foam. I've read a thread about how to repair a stamp when the rubber has peeled from the foam, so that's not really my question.
I'm more curious to know if anyone else has had this experience. Are the die cut stamps more likely to peel apart than the ones we had to trim ourselves? I have stamps that I've owned for years and used countless more times and I've never had a stamp peel. (I've only owned this set for a few months!) I don't consider myself to be an over-zealous scrubber, so I don't think that's the reason for my peel!
I guess I can ask my demo about it, but I thought I'd run the question by all of you, too.
The only stamps I've ever had peel apart were from the Seaside Sketches (or was it Summer by the Sea?) set that was part of that bad batch of adhesive a few years back. No trouble with the new die-cut ones!

Yes, I have had the same problem and it irritates me because I really think we are paying more for die cut stamps.
I glue it back together with rubber cement.
I noticed that the other day but not with the actual stamp. I was experimenting with a way to use the leftover stuff after I popped out the diecut stamps. I actually wanted to peel the rubber off the foam backing and was amazed that there didn't seem to be any glue at all on it!! I thought it was going to be difficult... but ~ so not!!
I generally use my SU stamps with Tack'n'Peel but I'm thinking of switching them all over to EZmount anyway... I guess it should be pretty easy if they are barely gluing them!
I have the same problem, but it's really one I welcome because my stamps are all unmounted and I prefer to have no foam.
I totally agree. The new ones are SO much easier to remove from the foam than the older ones. I nearly took all the skin off my thumb unmounting the old ones. Of course, that could be because I unmounted 150+ sets in less than a month...
I have had this happen. I've also had it peel off the wood. But I've just kinda pressed the peices back together and kept on stampin.... seems like once I press them back together I haven't had sets repeat the preformance though...
I have also had that problem. I've just pressed them back down and they have been alright. It was a little discouraging the first few times it happened, now I just expect it to happen.
