I forgot to add earlier that my drink of choise is Spiced Rum and Diet Pepsi! LOVE Red Wine too!!!
I haven't developed a taste for mojitos, but a Mike's Hard Lime will do just fine when I'm playing in the ink after a long hard week of running kiddos here and there.
I love Mike's Hard Lemonade, makes me want to have some today. Just sit in the sun and sip away. yum.

One of the very first SU workshop's I hosted I served a rhubarb slush (with vodka) and it's still one of the best $ wise and fun wise parties ever! My friends still talk about it!
mmmmm....only the best drink EVER! We had them all the time in Mexico and now I have drilled my husband and he can make a perfect one! It's rum, club soda, mint leaves, superfine sugar and limes! You gotta check out the bacardi site with the vistual tutorial on how to make one...I love how it says mojito, cracks me up!
I too like to have a few drinks while stamping in my studio. Sometimes I get alot accomplished sometimes very little. But when I'm finished I sleep like a baby!

Wow.....Our best stamping at club or alone is most often done with a nice glass of VINO......I seem to stamp better after one.......so my friends tell me

Feeling deprived since I've never entered the world of the Appletini yet either!
I don't generally "imbibe" (I just like to say that word) when I'm stamping by myself - only because I don't really think of it. When I get together with my friend Wanda to stamp though, a glass of vino is a must! I'm not sure how much stamping we accomplish, but we are having too much fun to care!

I'm usually pretty creative without the booze, but this thread has me thinking......if I can make great cards without it...........just THINK of the AMAZING cards I could make with a Marguerita in hand! ;) wooohoooooo

Girl, you know it!
Can I interest you in an appletini, BTW? ;)
I'm always surprised at how many folks have yet to experience the virtues of a well-made appletini.
I guess I'm the official appletini poster child . . . sigh . . .

soooo Julie, how do you make an appletini? I prefer Margaritas with Jose Cuervo on the rocks btw to mojitos. For some reason I did not like the minty taste on the mojito.

2 equal parts:
Smirnoff Twist of Apple Vodka
and
Apple Pucker (or Appletini mix, by Stirrings)
Shaken, over ice. Rim glass, with appletini sugar, pour in 'tini, garnish with maraschino cherry.
For a tasty variation, try a caramel appletini ;) :
Same as above, but swirl caramel syrup around the inside of the glass, skip the sugars, and float a slice of green apple (cored, of course) on top.
Heaven is a well-made appletini, I do declare.
Well, that AND a brand new batch of rubbah! LOL!

Well Julie! I am always up for a challenge........I will give the appletini a try!
I do enjoy a plain old stoli's vodka martini with 2 olives.....but I am game! The big problem with these for me is I get terribly giggly and my face gets all hot and numb.....teehee. See....I'm giggling just thinking about it!
Virgina, this is really not a good idea. Seed pops would leave burn holes in cardstock!
Man, that sucks. Well I guess I'm making brownies then...bummer they are so fattening!
Actually I'm pretty boring when it comes to stamping. I usually have a glass of water near by and the occasional piece of candy. I used to love wine but can't drink it anymore because it gives me terrible heartburn.
I am a lousy drunk and I can't hold my liquor. I would probably cut myself on the paper trimmer or remove a finger with the scissors if I drank while stamping. The only alcohol at my table is the rubbing alcohol that I use on the projects.
Okay....not proud...but I think I do my best work with a couple drinks under the belt! I do like to have a few drinks while stampin'. I think it helps my creativity but I just got on some meds that are not compatible so no drinking for me. :(
Can't imagine not drinking while stamping!!!!! Enjoy the relaxation! Do what you enjoy your not hurting anyone and relaxing in this day and age is a hard thing to do!!

I love having a little alcohol now and then, but personally I think getting stoned on some bad *** weed does the trick much better.
JUST KIDDING! LOL I'm sure some of you had to look twice at that one. ;)
That is SO funny! I know I had to read it twice. I have stamped a few times after having drinks and have made some of my favourite things. So maybe it does help spark my creativity
