You betcha...Cab or Merlot...sometimes I'll be happily creating and reach for the glass and it'll be empty and I'm wondering "who drank my wine? Absent-minded drinking can be very dangerous!
I gotta ask, though....what's a mojito???
Lisa
All I gotta say is you must have a mojito! I made one for my neighbor recently and he liked it but said "you can't drink a lot of these"
Just try one. . .it's not a complicated recipe but does take some work.

mmmmm....only the best drink EVER! We had them all the time in Mexico and now I have drilled my husband and he can make a perfect one! It's rum, club soda, mint leaves, superfine sugar and limes! You gotta check out the bacardi site with the vistual tutorial on how to make one...I love how it says mojito, cracks me up!
I wonder if the liquor store is open today......I need some Mojito ingredients before I try some Elegant Floral cards like Emily & some Appletini ingredients to use my new Polka Dot alpha to case Julie!

I love having a little alcohol now and then, but personally I think getting stoned on some bad *** weed does the trick much better.
JUST KIDDING! LOL I'm sure some of you had to look twice at that one. ;)
OMGosh....this was just tooooo funny.....I almost knocked my drink over and dropped my joint when I read this......(JUST KIDDING)!! It did give me a great laugh, though!! AND yes, I do drink while stamping....ususally just iced tea with splenda, lime and mint. BUT....when my best friend and I get together to stamp, we whip up some of my famous vodka slushies! YUMM-O!!

mo-HEE-to!!! I'm sitting here dancing to the mojito music w/ that guy's voice playing in my head...cracking me up! Holy cow, though, drinking one of those will either make be very happy or have me face down in my Versamark!
Absolutely! I love them! It's just that Margueritas are my favorite! ;)
You guys are CRACKING ME UP! This is the best thread ever. LOL

Personally my favorite beverage while scrapbooking is a nice Merlot! I can have the bottle right there and I don't even need to leave my craft table to pour another glass! AND.... the glass doesn't sweat alloever my table!!!!

I have never tried to mix the two... but it makes total sense to me now! I LOVE Long Island Iced Tea and Amarreto Sour... I bet either one would mix just as well with rubbah as it does with a group of friends and Cranium!
And now I HAVE to try the appletini! YUM!

I started this thread and had NO idea it was going to get that many responses! It's a fun thread. Appletinis and Mojitos sound like a must try. An earlier post said having a Merlot bottle right there, does that mean it's empty by the end of the stamping 'session' ? Lol.
So how many of you actually gave an alcoholic beverage while stamping, a try after reading this? I think this is funny but fun... of course in moderation.

I don't drink alcohol when I stamp.because I usually stamp in the am.when kids are in school. Unless I go away for a crop somewhere.then I will usually have a magarita with friends.

guess your worries about this offending anyone were unfounded!;)
I just found this thread -- can't believe it! Miller Lite, white wine, Bailey's and coffee -- it always helps with the creative flow. Have a tendency to get the giggles though while I'm trying to stamp and read what's happening on SCS!

Mmmm, in the winter nothing finer than Bailey-fied coffee and rubbah! ;)
I even have an awesome recipe for homemade Bailey's that I make every year and give at Christmas to friends and family! I tell 'em if they'll return the bottle to me, I'll refill it every year.

I've never had any drinks while stamping until VSBN. I had everything planned that I would not be interupted and was only able to do one challenge the first night because I had to run hear there and every for my in-laws. Mild complaint - after all they were watching DD. Anyway on Sunday I broke out the sangria at 11:00 am (sounds bad I know) after driving them down to the watershed to get water - they still had errands for me to run even though all the stores were closed. After I had some sangria I had a good excuse that I could not drive anywhere. This sounds like I was playing dirty (and I was a little) but Friday I asked them if they needed anything done because I had an event and every errand after that I asked them are your sure this is everything? Not only was the sangria yummy but I did every challenge but one. It was a great time.

Ha! Been there, too.
During the day it's coffee or seltzer. But I do enjoy a nice Cab while stamping in the evening.
Even had a couple of workshops where the hostesses served margarita and Cosmos--yum. Funny, it didn't occur to me the hostess kept refilling my Cosmo while I wasn't looking...good thing I knew those ladies pretty well!
