Default Which do you use more of....

Very Vanilla or Black? I'm trying to decide which to get in my Starter Kit, and I'm assuming that the Whisper White can be swapped out for any Neutral. Is this correct? I have most of the other neutrals, so I'm trying to decide between V. Vanilla and Black.

TIA for any opinions.

I use more vanilla than anything else. I use it as a base for most cards.

Personally, I use the vanilla more, but have started using black. You probably can't go wrong with either one. Aren't we a big help?

Another vote for black. It is just so adaptable! And it bleaches very nicely!

Both. I use vanilla more often than whisper white because it looks better with the card stock that I use (earth elements and the muted colours from the subtles and the regals). But black is great too -- I use it for a border around the stamped image. What other dark colours do you have? Chocolate or navy also make nice borders.

You'll definitely use both, but if I had to pick, I'd choose black. Black looks great on every card!

This is funny, i thought, absolutely vanilla!!! I was really surprised to see all the responses for black. Guess I learned something. I'll be trying black on more cards to see what I can do. Guess you learn something every day.

I just filled and mailed out my Demo forms yesterday. I did not see a place where you could exchange the whisper white cs for black? I just left it as Whisper White as I don't have ANY SU! cardstock although I have lots of non-SU cs.

Anyway, wanted to add that I just recently started using black to layer some of my cards with. It really does make a big difference and helps it pop!

I use a lot of Vanilla. I do use black, but mainly as an accent or to mat an image. It does set off other colors nicely, but I'm not a big fan of cards that are mostly black. I know I wouldn't want to receive one...too depressing...IMO! With all the wonderful colors out there, black would never be my first choice.

I use more Vanilla OK I use more colors but not black, I do use it but for only 4.50 I'd op to buy it later. I don't usually use vanilla for the card or even white I prefer colors but do use white alot in my stamping but not alot of black.

It actually says on the form you have to choose either W White or V Vanilla - you can't get black. I may be wrong but I'm almost 100% positive I'm right!

If you don't already have SU's white cs I say go for it - it's really nice and looks much nicer than other brands when stamped on.
