Default Does Anyone Use Bazzill Paper....

Does Anyone Use Bazzill Paper....where do you buy it?

I've seen a lot of cards in Stampers' Sampler/Take Ten/RubberStampMaddness etc that use Bazzill paper. I love the colors I've seen as well as the various textures. Just curious to hear from anyone who has used it - Love it? Hate it? Is it really expensive?

Any info would be great!

I use bazzill paper alot, I love the texture of it. I wish SU would have more paper with texture, the bazill goes nicely with SU actually I use both all the time. They do have their own website http://www.bazzillbasics.com or you can get it at http://www.sizzix.com/ also. I'm sure you can get it other places but I get it from there and sometimes Ebay (hanging head in shame :p)

Thanks Mary! Glad to know I'm not the only one who loves texture (there's only so much you can do with a crimper ).

I use Bazzill paper. It's nice and thick and I love the textures. TAC is carrying the monochromatic packs of paper and Bazzinks this year.

I use Bazzill strictly for scrapbooking (actually my second son's baby album is a Bazzill 12 x 12 and I've only used Bazzill cs in it). I just find I can't use it as well in cardmaking/stamping.....but for scrapbooking-awesome! I would love to refer you to a site I stumbled upon: www.scrappers-paradise.com they are great there (lowest prices I've seen on cs and some great deals). shipping is a flat 2.75 and you can get free shipping over a certain amount. Well worth it!

I also like it. I usually buy it from www.scrappindeals.com. You can buy packs or individual sheets.

I love Bazzil and used to use it. There is only one reason I don't, and it makes no sense. As I said in another post, I am limiting my craft purchases to SU, in a desperate attempt to gain some control over spending and having everything match. That shouldn't stop you, however. Bazzil has different types of textures -- there is a new one called silk that is really lovely! try www.cardstockqueen.com also

I Love.LOVE.Love Bazzill, use it exclusively for scrapping. Joann is carrying it now in the Mono-Chromatic packs. $11.99 for 12x12 ( I can't remember the price for 8.5x11) BUT, you can use a coupon! ;)

I LOVE TEXTURE!!

I have enjoyed their cardstock so much. The weight of the cardstock is also great. TAC now carries it in their catalogs along with DCWV textured cardstocks that have the white core and it's great for distressing.

I love the Bazzill paper and do often use it with my cards. I have two local stamp stores that carry a huge supply, so I can easily get it. I do beleive that Addicted to Rubber Stamping (http://www.addictedtorubberstamps.com)
also carries it and they ship out FAST!!!

i love Bazzill and use it all the time in my scrapbooking but I don't like stamping on it. I can't seem to get a clean image. I guess that makes sense with the texture and all but I keep hoping it will work and so far it hasn't. Maybe someone can tell you how to stamp on it. I love the range of colors I can get Bazzill in, though. As much as I like SU! paper for the coordinating elements, I prefer Bazzill and other papers at my local stores for scrapbooking because I can usually find things that match my photos well.

I have used Bazzill CS and I love the texture. Here is what I was told about stamping on it --
A detailed stamped image comes out great
A bold image does not
I used Toile Blossoms on the Bazzill and it came out beautifully. Never tried a bold image though to check out how that would turn out.

I'm glad to see other stampers on here that love Bazzil paper. I'm going to have to check out those websites. I go to a local stamping store, but it is 15 miles away from me and at $2.75 a gallon of gas here in the Bay Area, I would rather pay shipping and order online. I don't stamp directly on it due to the texture, but use it for layering. I'm ordering the canvas BG from SU for a similar look, but I love the feel of Bazzil. Thanks for the Joann's tip, I rarely make it there.

I saw it on sale somewhere this week online...might try twopeasinabucket.com or lifeiswhathappens.com. Life was having a 30% off sale on everything to get ready for new CHA product coming in. I think it is still going on. Gotta love a sale!

I love it!! Use it all the time! I use 'regular' CS for stamping on though.. especially the sentiments, they don't show up as well on textured CS as they do on 'flat' CS.

I just use my canvas background stamp - it makes it look like Bazzil paper!

Bazzill cant be beat. Great texture. Fabulous, rich colors. You can always use the non- textured side to stamp on and still get the benefits of Bazzill's great weight and color in your project.
Try also : houseofpapercom. Has good sales and great service.

Default I'm in love,

with Bazzill!! I use it all the time. My lss has the 8.5x11 4 for $1.00. The 12x12 I can only get online or about an hour away. I use mine for the bases of my cards, than layer the stamped images on regular cardstock. It's funny but for cards now I almost think the smooth cardstocks look "cheap" to me.

I too love Bazzill paper. Haven't had a chance to stamp on it yet, but I love it for card bases and layers. They have some different colours from SU! Several of the perfect shades that I need for my art are unavailable from SU but I can find them from Bazzill. Here's an example of a card I made with their Wisteria paper:

Well, silly me, I say I haven't stamped on it and then I see from the example I referenced that indeed I have. Evidently, stamping line art works just fine. Sorry for any confusion.
