Just got back from Target and in the Dollar Spot they had 1 gallon containers that hold cards PERFECTLY! I am so excited. I have been looking for something to replace my poor shoebox forever!
They aso had epoxy stickers in retro colors. They are circles and squares with cute colors thru them!
Please, please, please post a picture. I'm looking for a container too and the nearest Target is a 25 minute drive for me. I hate to go all that way if it isn't what I am looking for.
TIA
Has anyone been to the Target in either Saginaw or Port Huron Michigan? We are going to Frankemuth for our March break next week...so I hope I can scoop some of the great deals I have been reading about. We don't have Target in Canada....maybe someday!
My demo just left...I can hardly stand it...over 600.00 in sales....WOW...there won't be anything that I don't need (want is another matter) after today!

My Target had the same ones, but in black. I bought 10, came home and filled them all and then went back and bought another 10. They are so darn cute!
I also found vellum envelopes that already have an adhesive on the back. There were quite a few in the pack for only $1.00 (dollar spot). I do have the template for this, but they are already done! I bought 10! LOL I was VERY excited about finding these and my hubby thought I was a DORK! (as usual!) LOL
I also found mini shopping bags with a pop dot on them that would be cute for putting birthday money in or something.
Last but not least, mini clothespins! Cute little things.
OH!! Saw those the other day and did not know what to do with them! NOW I KNOW! I will have to go and look again today -
Found the same stickers and bought 2 of each - found the envelopes but did not get them (was not sure if I would use them or not) only found one pkg of the mini clothes pins (keep hoping for more!)
Maybe they will have something new and awesome today!

Oh my gosh!! I am sooo jelous of those stickers! I have been 3 times this week to 2 different target's. They didn't have those stickers :( I almost went today, well I still have time...
Okay, this is the first time I ever REALLY checked out the $ spot!! Oh my gosh, I felt like I was on some type of "happy" drug! I got some mini vellum envelopes, another type of vellum envelope with toggles (little eyelets/with string to close them), a mini stapler, and mini COLORED staples!! My DH said, I suppose you want to go back and get some more! I think I found a new spot to shop!!!!! Oh, I also got some little tiny clothes pins attached with a string!!! COOL!!
I think I am going to pack up the children and run to Target first thing in the morning. I can't wait! I hope I find all the goodies you all seem to have found!
Has any one noticed if there's a best time to hit the dollar spot? For example: Is it stocked up Monday AM and that's it for the rest of the week or does it seem to be replenished daily? My Target is almost an hour away so I don't get there often. The one time I did since the dollar spot debuted, it had been pretty well combed over and I didn't find anything cool that I had to have. :(
So is it hit or miss or should I plan my next trip for a specific day?
Thanks!

I saw the cute "post it notes" at my Target store. I hope I can find some of them containers and mini vellum envelopes. As somebody else said "I'm also a container junkie". Thanks for sharing.

I have joined the dance
I went to target today. WOW I hit the jackpot. I got packages of scraps of mulberry paper, buttons, charms, stickers, little envelopes. Oh my gosh. I had to walk away.... Thanks so much ...
I am not sure what day they stock that section because I was there one Thursday am and they had just stocked it up then I went back another Thursday am and it was not stocked.....
Maybe if you call and ask for a manager of the dollar spot and you tell them you are so far away they may just tell you! Why would they not - more business more money means a job for them to keep!!
I am going to do some asking when I go in next time - the AM crew is the best one to ask by the way - they seem to be doing the markdowns and stocking early at our store!
Good luck!

OH and they did not have the gallon containers at my store ~ that is ok I just saved some money and hopefully they will get some more awesome stuff in for next week!

Stocking at the store I work at is not done on a set schedule. It really all depends on when the merchadise comes in on the truck. The stuff flies out of it so fast sometimes it is just too hard to keep up with keeping it filled, especially if there is no stock to fill it with.
I didn't see those containers when I was working tonight but will double check for them tomorrow.
Rebecca Wheeler,
I will call a friend to see what the Targets are like that you asked about. My best friends lives there.
I am soooo jealous   that you are going to Frankenmuth. I love that place but never seem to be able to go there since I had my kids. When we visit my parents it just doesn't seem to work out. I guess it is not the best place for 2 boys under 4. Have a great time.
Marcy
First off... love the Dollar Spot! I, too, partook of the mini vellum envelopes and stickers!
Now that I have said that, I will feel free to semi-threadjack!
Marcy & Rebecca... OMG, I love Frankenmuth!!! My dad's whole family lives in Bay City so we would go to F. when we visited them in the summers. I just took my first trip back there as an adult last August and I still love it... watching them make fudge, going to Bronner's (bought my baby's very first Christmas ornaments!), and best of all... eating fried chicken at the Bavarian Inn! Ah, I'm drooling just thinking about it all... seriously, that is the best fried chicken EVER and I don't even like fried chicken in real life.
For anyone who has been to Frankenmuth they will understand the thread jacking
I talked to my friend and she said that sometimes they have great stuff at target. It is just hit or miss if it has been restocked.
my sister got three "stampin spot" size inks pads for a $1 at target two different sets to use --they are really cute and for $1 per pack of three she could not say no--but she forgot to pick me up some  and now they are gone maybe next time
Saturday, at my Target in the scrapbook aisle, they had some cool snap embellishments on clearance. I bought a few pkgs...I think I will use them with the SU Pocket friends stamp set
Cyberspanos -I moved to new area a few years ago & we had NO TARGET! nearby. So I emailed Target & told them to come here & guess who has a NEW store 6 min away from her now I like to *think* it was my suggestion that helped bring it here
