Question drying pigment ink?

Anyone with any suggestions for drying pigment inK? I made a great card for my sisters' 25th anniversary and used silver pigment ink on black SU cardstock yesterday. I gave it a day to dry, and it is still smudging. I tried heating it, and that didn't do the trick...any other suggestions? Thanks

I would emboss over it with clear EP. I don't know if it would stick now and I would hate for you to have to make a whole new card but it might be worth a shot.

Sometimes when I have stubborn ink I use a scrap sheet of cardstock or a piece of tissue to blot the excess. To do this I lay the scrap over my image and use a brayer or the palm of my hand to transfer the wet ink to the scrap. Then I heat set it one more time just to be safe. Be careful not to shift the scrap paper because that may ruin your image. I would test it on another image before trying it on your sister's card, but if it works for you it may save you from making another card.
