Default Duh! Why didn't I think of this sooner?

Every so often, I mono something in place and then remember I wanted to sponge the edges, or add an eyelet, or something, and the mono is just plain stuck. As a result and I end up tearing the cardstock trying to pry them apart, and often have to redo all the stamping I had done.

This morning I had my heat tool out and remembered something I do with stickers and my blow dryer (you know the ones stuck on packages with super adhesive!). So, I used my heat tool on the back side of the cardstock attached to stamped image and viola, it peeled right up, not tearing any of the cs, image still in perfect shape! I could sponge the edge and put it right back on, with a bit more mono as a precaution.

This may be old news to everyone, but it's a huge revelation to me!!

You know, that is why I LOVE this site. I do the exact same thing. I try and remove something, rip it and then have to start all over. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Thanks for the tip. I would never have thought to do that and it will now save me lots of cardstock (or not quite perfect cards)

I use dental floss. Just slide it down between the layers and kind of "floss" the paper apart. Works great ~ no ripping.
