Does anyone know where I can find an Elmo Stamp? I need to start making my dtr's birthday invites. I can't find one. I did a search on Yahoo and didn't come up with much.
I also found out from another gal that she saw a card with Elmo made from the Sketch It set. Can anyone help me out?
Here's some post cards I made with ELMO I used candy for his nose. I gave these out, I don't think the nose would stay on through the mail, though. I think, I made these almost 2 years ago, I used Ruby red for the base, (big swirlys)& Real Red for the fur.I used the stem from my DD DAisy set for his smile, and I punched our circles in white& black for his eyes. Don't make his head round, it will look funny. Elmo's head is kind of oval side to side.HTH

If you search at two peas someone posted an elmo card and elmo cupcakes (in the regular layout gallery). There are also some great ones in this gallery if you do a search.

I looked all over for an elmo stamp when I did my daughter's invitations and never found one. I did get suggestions from a posting about using Sketch It. I didn't have the set or enough time to order it but there are some cute ideas in the gallery.
i dont know if this helps, but i have had to make a ton of invitations to birthday parties where i couldn't find the "character" stamp i needed. So, i use stickers, or the small playing cards. here are links to what i am talking about. It tends to save a bit of headache if u have a lot to make, and you can still incorporate stamping somehow, (like add balloons, etc.)
I searched high and low for an elmo stamp earlier this year for my son's 2 year b-day invites. Couldn't find one, and didn't have Sketch It. So, I ended up using elmo stickers. I'll try to post it here. You can't tell in this picture, but there is a flap closure, and it opens into a full 11 inches when opened.
That is too cute! I love how you combined the crayon letters with the sticker!! DD is just off elmo now....she is a combination wiggles/aristocats girl now!!
Beth, if you don't have Sketch It you can also use Watercolor Garden II.
I have one I posted in my gallery using that set. It was so fast and simple to make. Have fun!
I just have to say that these are the CUTEST ideas!! I can't stand it. How clever to use Sketch It! It took me a minute to figure out how you all did the faces.
My son is way into Elmo still. We did that theme for his 1st birthday. I ended up just buying those store bought invites and then cutting out the image and adding my own touch.
Anyway, again, WOW on the great ideas!!
