Default Embossing Powders

While doing some cleaning a year ago, I ended up getting rid of all my embossing powders by mistake. Now I need to restock.

Which brand/kinds of embossing powders are your favorites and why?

Thanks.

Trish

I love stampin'up embossing powders and I noticed in their spring, summer mini that is coming out that they are bringing back some colors.

I also use ultra thick embossing (UTE) when I want a heavy look or doing cracked glass techniques. I get the UTE at Michaels. Our Joannes quit carrying it.

I really like the SU embossing powders too. They seem to work better than some of the other brands I have used. I tried to be cheap a few times and ended up buying SU again.

I personally like the Ranger brand of embossing powders. Up until recently, I was able to get them at my local craft store. Now I do have to go on the internet but it's worth it.

I feel they have the most variety of colors and the most popular colors also come in the Ultra Fine/Detail variety.

Is the SU EP fine or very fine?

I'm a huge fan of Filigree, but it only comes in a few colors.

I am actually only looking for black, white, and clear.

Thanks.

Another vote for Ranger - the fine detail clear is the best I've used.
