Default Envelope Stamp?

I remember awhile back that someone mentioned they have a stamp for the back of their envelope that says something funny to the effect of "this envelope contains . . . ." and lists several choices. Can anyone tell me who sells this stamp. Sounds like a fun one to buy.
TIA, Sherry

I can't say I specifically know who makes such a stamp. You could try Viva Las Vegas Stamps (www.stampo.com). I have some of their stamps and that seems like the kind of stamp they would carry. HTH

I just happened to be on the WWW this morning (on a break from work of course!) and stumbled upon Judikin's website and catalogs. Anywho - I found these terrific stamps that are what I was thinking of when I saw this thread a few weeks ago....

The stamps read (and these are all copyrighted!)...
  • Now I know this may be hard for you to believe, but I MADE THIS! Don't just stand their dumbfounded, get excited or something! and...
  • Enclosed it a HANDMADE CARD. As such, it deserves a place of honor and respect in your home and should not be casually discarded like an ordinary store-bought card. and...
  • This is an individually crafted WORK OF ART. Any smudges, spotches or other irregularities are intentional and do not diminish the quality of this piece in any way.

Check them out in Judikin's current catalog (page 71) here!

I think you have to look at the letter in the code, then check the chart on their orderform...

For example, 2055D would cost $5.40.

They don't sell in sets...just individual stamps. They didn't used to sell retail, either, only wholesale. Maybe they've added retail sales to their website? I do think though that the thread the OP was referring to concluded that it was Judi-Kins...

I don't know if they carry the envelope stamp, but Repeat Impressions out of Freeport, Maine sells some great stamps. Check out:

www.repeatimpressions.com

The "Funny Bones" category has some great alternatives for "Made by" stamps - including:

"Rubber Stamps = $7000.
Supplies = $4500.
Handmade Card From Me = Priceless."

"This ain't no stinkin' off the rack card...I made it with my own bare hands!"

"What were you expecting? Hallmark?!"

On a different note, check out the Stampers Christmas Carols under the Stamping category and the new FLIP stamp sets.

Just a guess, but their websites FAQs note that they've closed the storefront, so I'm guessing they're selling on the web now...
