No, I was not aware of this website but I can tell that I will be torn between this site and theirs. The wonderful stories reminds us of what our men and women are doing for us. I think that we tend to forget about all of the good that they are doing and I for one will not. Thank you for posting the link to this site. It's uplifting to see that what we think are the little things that we do for them is not so little to them.
The site is incredible..and besides my son, I have adopted four other soldiers. Even a card or a letter let alone a package it makes their day.
I just received a letter from one of my soliders and he wrote
"when i saw the enevelope I though who in the world is Robbin DiCiacco' but after I read your letter, I was so happy you wrote and ask that you continue doing so.
Now, how can you NOT write letters and send cards. These are absolutely GREAT kids, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, etc.
I found this site today..and I love it. I have seen the gallery and found your cards all incredible. If you send one card out a week it would change somebody's life...all from the love of what you do and do well..stamp.

Thanks for sharing this awesome site. I'm setting my sights on "adopting " a soldier or 2. Hope everyone here will do the same. We owe them so much more than a card.
You are welcome. It is difficult for families as well. My son is in the airforce and although he is not "there" yet, there may come a time within the six years my son has signed for that my "baby" will go there.
I have been adopting soldiers since before my 19 year old even thought of a military career. It is such an important thing to do . This site makes it so simple to adopt a solider or two or four.

Oh my... what a wonderful site! I wish I could send something to all of them. I've got to get all my old card fronts together and send a big bunch of cards to them. I've made some for Keri's military group, and now I think I'll spread it around a bit.
you are welcome..it is hard to pick to whom to send.
I say pick a female and a male out of each branch. It is nice because the site has Air Force, Marines, Army, Navy, males and females.
These men and women volunteer to be a contact person to distribute the mail and or packages to the members who do not recieve mail.
You would not believe how many people might just have one or two writing them. Spend hours out in the dessert with nothing really to look forward to other than mail and you would appreciate how much they LOVE our letters, cards etc.
