Default Extreme Makeover...card edition!

I was going through my bin of old card samples today, and found one that I made about 3 years ago. I liked the verse and the main image on it, but I thought I could update it a bit. I've learned so much on this site since I've discovered it (a last year and a half ago!). I remade it using a sketch challenge and some DTP, and I really like the way it turned out! I challenge you to dig out an old card and make it over using new techniques that you've learned.

Here's my before and after:

Post your before and after to this thread (if anyone wants to try this!)

Both are great, but the "after" seems "complete" and quite satisfying at which to look. Beautiful! A great idea to pull out some old stuff and take another run at it!

What a cute idea, and both cards are cute but the 2nd is more sophisticated. I will dig through my card box and embarrass myself after we go out to eat and play in this challenge, too funny!

This is an awesome idea! Keep this bumped up so I remember to try it. Let's see what we can all come up with.

Thumbs up

What a great job! Your 2nd card is soooo cleaver!
I have several cards I made when I first started and I put my heart into making them, but they didn't turn out. I still have them. Maybe I will try this challenge myself.

Fantastic! I love this idea, your second card is great, I love the colours and the use of the BG stamp!
