Default EZ-Mount

Is ez-mount the only thing to use on your rubber stamps? Is there any other kinds of mounting i can use?
I don't know what i am doing, i bought some rubber only stamps and i know i need to mount them on something to use with my clear blocks. I went to 2 stores Mikes and Beverlys in town and they didn't carry anything for mounting stamps. So my question is-- Where can i buy this and is it on-line only?
Thanks

If you don't mind stamping with bare rubber you could use Tack It Over And Over on the bare rubber. IF not EZ mount sounds like it would be the easiest thing to use with acrylic blocks. You can look on ebay, but Sunday International is the company that makes EZ mount. Their web site is : http://sundayint.com/ . Those are really the only choices I know if.

If you are interested in trying another method, it only requires one bottle of Tack-It-Over-and-Over to do hundreds of stamps! You put the sticker on the foam side of the stamp so you can see what you're stamping. The TIOAO leaves the stamps with just the right amount of stickiness and is not messy at all once they dry (15-20 minutes). I've done tons of sets this way and finally found someone who made a video for people who are visual, by Nilda (thanks Nilda!):

I find that the sets are fitting great in the new blank SU cases, and at about $1.25 each they aren't too bad cost wise, or the sets can store in a CD case as you see in the video. Or if you want to go with no money expenditure, you can use the clamshell lids (see thumnail).

You can also use Tack 'N Peel. You apply it to one side of your clear acrylic block, peel away the protective clear sheet and your rubber sticks to that while you're using it. When you're done with the stamp, take it off the Tack 'N Peel, and replace the protective sheet. It's a one-time application to your clear block. When it stops being sticky, clean it using dish detergent and water, let dry and it's sticky again. Oh, and the Tack 'N Peel is clear also so you can still see through it! It's great stuff!

I *love* this stuff - purchased it at Joann's (with a coupon, of course! :p) I store my UM stamps (rubber only) in CD cases that I've "scribbled" on with Mono Multi glue (which stays tacky when dry). Only issue I've come across with using the TNP is that I labelled the backs of the stamps themselves with Sharpies (to identify manufacturer) and get some transfer onto the TNP. Very minor issue, and I still adore this method.

I had some stamps that I used cling mount with (both the "real" stuff and cheaper knock-off brands) and have had problems with the rubber "sliding" off over time. Very annoying! Plus, by sticking with rubber only I can stack 2 layers in my CD cases. HTH!
