Paper is tricky... keep in mind that new paper packs come in 24 sheets for $5.50 +shipping I always start there. Some retired paper colors go for a bit more. I sold packs of Baroque Burgundy new in package for $8 for 24, and just sold 15 sheets of Cool Caribbean for $4. Go figure! Definately sort through and pull out your SU stuff separately.
Designer Paper is a whole different thing. Is it scrapbook paper or SU DP? Retired SU DP will go for over purchase price, especially NIP. Non-SU I would lump according to theme (birthday, holiday, etc). Or if it's not scrap paper, you could lump by colors (all reds and oranges together, etc). I would do some research on Ebay and Craigslist for all the stuff you want to sell. You can also search CL on different locations if there are no current listings in your area to compare from - I always search SFBay Area since that site is HUGE.
Good luck!
