I've made several cards with copper, and I'm totally in love with all the copper products. Here are some of the colors I've used with the copper paper, copper EP, and/or copper cord:
Basic Black
Forest Foliage
Baroque Burgundy
Night of Navy
Taken with Teal
Perfect Plum
Eggplant Envy
I love the polished stone technique with copper reinker for the mettalic ink - sooooo cool!
Think of color combinations that look complimentary on a redhead! They work beautifully with copper.
That made me chuckle, I am a redhead (well, at least for the past 19 years anyway) and I think copper looks great with mellow moss! It just so happens that one of my favorite colors to wear is that cellery- ish color.
Wow, 19 years. I feel old. There must be a mistake, I must have been 4 when I started coloring it!!!
Yeah!!!!
I love Mellow moss with copper, too! My best friend for 49 years (that's 30 MORE than 19!) is a redhead. Beautiful red hair! Her son recently married and she wore Mellow Moss (no, not the cardstock but the color!) to the wedding. Now I may know the subliminal inspiration!
Use Copper EP on Really Rust, then bleach out the image. You get a nice golden color. Looks fantastic!
This is one of the cards I did like this: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I also chuckled with the redheaded comment. My 19 year old daughter and 17 year old son are redheads. Wonder if they would mind if I put cardstock up to them.... This has been a very helpful topic as I have been staring at my new copper items and drawing a blank.
I'm digging the copper also. Bought some thin metal at Hobby Lobby and dry embossed the pumpkin image onto it (from the SU Festive Four) set. Cut around the metal and matted it with eggplant cs, orange mulberry, orange cs and then put that on a black card. Used some matching fibers. The color combos were great together and I'm one Halloween card ahead. Copper goes well with all those wonderful Fall type colors.
