Default favorite magazines??

What magazines do you all subscribe to? Especially to get good ideas. I am mostly stamping cards and other 3-D projects - but want to start scrapbooking....although I prefer simple "clean" scrapbook pages. I don't like tons of stufff just hanging on the pages. Anyway, just wondering what magazines you like the best. I just signed up for papercrafts for 1 yr $10. Any other good deals? Also, if you know, could you include the subscription cost for your mag of choice - just to get an idea of course. Thanks!

I subscribe to Stamper Sampler. I also pre order their biyearly (?) Take Ten magazine. It has over 600 different samples in it. Not a whole lot of fluff - just samples. Or, you could send in a sample yourself and get a free issue if they publish your work. Otherwise, the cost is $15 approximately. Stamper Sampler costs $30 a year for six issues.

I just subscribed to Paper Crafts magazine too. But, I ordered before they came out with the yearly $10 cost :(

Creative Memories has started putting out their own magazine called Lasting Moments. It of course only advertises their products, but has GREAT layouts and clean design ideas..You can only order it through a consultant though. It's not available at stores. You should try it out!

I got a gift subscription to Creating Keepsakes for Christmas, I used to relly like that magazine. But not anymore. All of their pages styles are just totally different than anything I would ever do.
So, I called and got the balance of my account switched over to the PaperCrafts magazine. But I only got the $12.00 for one year deal. not the $10.00 a year.
But still it is a great magazine. Has anyone ever looked thru their Stamp It! magazine? How about the Birthday Creations or the The Joy of Card Making???
Are they worth their $ ?? Just wondering!
Thanks

My votes are similar to others here...

Papercrafts is DEFINATELY my favorite rubber stamping magazine. But, I LOVE Take Ten (it's published bi-annually).

For scrapbooking, I love the simple layout style of Simple Scrapbooks.

Enjoy!

Thanks Debbie for the info!!
Does anyone have any links for a free trial issue to any stamping or scrapping magazines???? I always hate to commit to the whole year in case I don't like it.

SIMPLE SCRAPBOOKS is definitely my favorite! Especially if you like clean, simple, yet classy pages. It does come out once every two month though. But each issue is dogeared amd covered in post-its. I read it cover to cover at least twice!

I'm getting Simple Scrapbooks, Papercrafts, and Rubber Stamper at the moment. I'm a demo and my customers love the Take Ten book - they always ask me to do stamp camps based on that mag - but it's not my thing! My mom gets Crafts & Things and sometimes gives me pages out of it - they are featuring more & more scrapbooking and stamping.

I subscribe to papercrafts and received my March issue but no April/May yet! I have emailed them and they said they would send another but would take 2-3 weeks! I am very dissatisfied with the service of this mag. I know it costs a lot more but I may just go back to buying it on the newsstands. I love the mag just not the service!

I like both the Take Ten and the Stampers Sampler. But sometimes SS ideas are way more involved than I have time for. Just my 2 cents.

I LOVE Simple Scrapbooks because I like to just whip through my scrap pages (when I actually work on them. I also like Stamp IT. My LSS sells old copies of Stamper's Sampler at 50% off, so I like to pick those up as well. I love that mag because there are SO many SU! samples.
