I KNOW there's sets that "everyone just loves and HAS to have." They are the new, cool, hip stamps that are all the rage.
But what if YOU think it's a totally lame set and would NEVER buy it, even though "everyone else is doing it!"
Be brave, be bold, and let it be told!
And yes, I'm willing to be the first one--I never liked "Love without End." It just isn't my style! I know a TON of people who that's their fave set, but I will never own it!
Loads of Love. I just can't bring myself to get it. I love the sayings, but I just can't stand the pickup truck. I was working myself up trying to add it to my demo started kit - however I backed out ;)
I'm sure this will be a very unpopular answer but I hate In Full Bloom. I know everyone raves about what a great set it is and I have tried to like it but I just can't.

This was my first thought also. But, I've got another one...Shapes and Shadows. Actually, I bought this during the March promotion but I CAN'T use it. And you can't make me!! ;)
I'm sorry, but Best of Cluck?? I just don't get it. I guess I'm just not into chickens. I don't care for Do the Hula or Just Beakause either. Just not my style.
I love Love Without End and Collage Alphabet! Sorry to turn this negative into a positive, but one of the things I love about SU is their variety and no matter what your style is, you can find it in the catalog. Right?? ;)
There are many that I think are lame, but they are mainly geared towards people with children or just not my type.. there is a set that is getting alot of playtime lately.. the all about U set... I just don't feel anything at all for it....
Well there are a few, Best of Cluck, Just Beakcause, Cool Cat, and the Wanda and Wilson ones too. I just don't care for them. I like some of the cards I see other people make with them, but can't justify the $$$$.
Everything is a matter of taste, but here is my list of absolute nevers:
1) Charming Children I find those drawings really creepy
2) Stew Pot Pals I can't ever envision sending a card featuring root vegetables
3) Say Something Mice too rodenty
4)Wanda or Wilson
5) Computer Quips
6) Just Beakause (not a fan of puns although I have seen some cute cards)
7)Please be Seated just don't get this set at all
Didn't used to like that one, either, but I just ordered it the other day as part of my starter kit! :p
I second the nominations of In Full Bloom (and by extension Winged Things), Loads of Love, Cool Cat, Stew Pot Pals, Monkey Business and Best of Cluck. Just can't get excited about those sets. I'd also like to add Swell News to the list. I love making things for friends who are expecting, and apologies to those who think it's a must-have, but this set it just awful!
Of course, I have been persuaded to eventually change my mind about some sets **cough**PaintPrints**cough** so I'm not going to say never about anything!

I second everything Charlotte just said EXCEPT for Just Beakause - I do like that set.
Seriously - WHY IN THE WORLD would you buy/make cards with that Please Be Seated set? What was that artist thinking??? And Stew Pot Pals was really a strange set too. I predict that set will be flooding the B/S/T section in the near future.
I really don't like Heartfelt Thanks for some reason. I now have a set of inspiration sheets for it too and they make me dislike the set even more. I was hoping that when I saw the IS I would like the set more, but no.
I don't like Simply Circles at all !! I bought it and threw out everycard I made with it so I traded it... truth be told I would have traded it for a stick of gum ;)

I thought it was Paris is Spring but there is one that tops it for me. I HATE U!
U IS UGLY!
Even though Ive seen some okay cards with it, I wont be buying All About U! I think anyone that can make a nice card with that big ol U is a top notch stamper and I did get one in the mail yesterday that I really liked. But I still wont buy it!

A big ol' AMEN to this list--every one!!!!
Also add All the best, Best of Cluck, and the Gnomes to my list!
Like others here have said, I've seen some really cute cards done with some of these sets, but I personally will never buy them.
Personal taste--it IS great that SU has such variety to make us all happy!!!

That gnomes one creeps me out.. and the one with the kids that someone else mentioned was creepy! I just don't get why some of these sets go into the catty and some that were so popular like Paint Prints didn't make it.. Just their product research I guess...
The set with the Santa on the motorcycle! I was excited when I heard the description and figured it would be a must have. But after getting the catty in my hands I knew that I would never order it!
Shapes & Shadows - Can you believe it? I honestly saw this in the middle of the night, when no one had posted, and I had to think and think about which one. All About U runs a close second. I am completely bored with Shapes & Shadows and I never did like All About U. Weirdo me ... but I'm a gnome lover, so what can you say? Gay Howe
I don't generally like the cutesy ones like Stew Pot Pals, Fishy Friends, the mermaid one and the like. Don't like much in the "Vintage" section. I also don't like the ones that you would have to spend too much time coloring intricately. Also getting tired of some of the 1st sets I HAD to get, like Tags N More, just burned out on them, wouldn't buy them now if I had the choice......
I do like the easy, plunk down and I'm done types, bold lines, Ohhh and really like Little Pieces.......again - EASY!!!!
That would make a great card. Don't forget to add "and your momma dresses U funny" LOL
I so can't get into Stipple Celebrations or Shapes & Shadows. I have them both and when I feel guilty for not using I get them out and just stare at them. Total blank. No clue what to do with them. Wait!!! I just and an idea, Buy/Sell/Trade forum.
Also, that cat, he ain't that Cool.

I am also not a fan of Cool Cat, In Full Bloom, or Shapes & Shadows. I love what I see done with them, but I dont think I could use it. I do love the monkey set from the mini tho!! My son is a monkey lover, so, this was perfect for me to get.
Fishy friends. I am not a fish lover (unless it's fried on my plate). When I joined SCS (about 1 1/2 years ago, I think), it was all the rage. My friends loved it. Not I! So, I think I'm out of the water with pressure to get this set (ha, I made a pun!), then my 9 year old is flipping through the catalog. She loves fish (my dh was a FISHERIES SCIENCE MAJOR in college!) & saw this set (I should have ripped out the page). She loves it. Well, until she has money, she won't get it! hee-hee!
I really like some of the flowers in Mixed Bouquet in the summer mini---but I can't stand that they don't match. If you "2-step" it, they don't go together. Just me, I guess!
Then again, I am probably one of the few, the proud, the owners of Born to Ride (the motorcycle stamp set)! Hey, Beate has it, too, so I must be okay!
Ok, so my answer doesn't exactly fit with the original question because I actually did buy the set I don't like... In Full Bloom... and you know what? Buying it didn't make me like it any more!
It was a lesson for me in that it's not worth buying the entire set just because you like one cute little stamp in it... that bee finally sucked me in, so I guess I spent about $30 bucks on that one bee stamp! NOT wise.

I was pretty much going to write the same thing! The set that I bought that I can't find a THING to do with is Stipple Celebrations. I thought it would be one of those sets that would be super easy to whip out a card with, but I get it out and stare at it for 30 minutes before I just decide to put it away. I'm a HUGE fan of Little Pieces and the Whimsical Alpha sets. Also, the Small Script hostess set is one of my fav's!
Loads of Love. Now, I don't think it's "totaly lame", it's just to cutesy for my taste. I do like it with the dogs and the dog wheel that matches. Otherwise I would never use it.
I like the butterfly and the flower in the Love Without End set, but the saying is too cheesy for me.
The Gnomes, the Charming Children, and the Santa on the mototcycle that looks like he's ingested large amounts of a hallucinogenic susbstance are all pretty scary.
