You guys are so creative I thought you might help me out. I've finished my grandson's first birday card and now I stumped for something cute to write inside. We don't have a Hallmark store here to even copy an idea from. I'd really appreciate any help here. Is there a web site anywhere with stuff for inside of cards? I googled it, but just got a gazillion ecards. Thanks!
When I am at a loss for words inside a card, I tend to head to hallmark.com. They have ecards as well as cards that can be ordered. I just pick the category that fits my needs and read through the cards until I find one to copy
I printed this little poem on paper and glued inside my stamped card for my son's first birhtday. I used a Kids' Font. For the words COLORFUL, JOY, LOVE, FUN, and CELEBRATE, I used a bigger font and a different color. Colorful and celebrate had a different color for each letter. I used a 1 from the WORD ART formatting section.
It's been a very colorful year
full of joy, love and fun.
We hope you'll help us celebrate
as our little boy turns 1!
Thanks, I love the patty cake poem. Where do you find this at two peas? I'm always getting lost on their site. My GS is going to get the best card of all from his granna.
I agree with several others here - I check out Hallmark.com, AmericanGreetings.com, Blue Mountain Arts, etc. for ideas. Always this helps with verses; but sometimes they even offer design ideas when I am fresh out!

Sometimes my SIL will head to the nearest Hallmark and will look at cards and will "call herself" on her cell phone and will say on the answering machine: "Hey! I'm at the card store. What do you think of this one?" and she'll read the verse! LOL! Then she comes home and prints it into her card with a few personal changes! Silly girl!
