Default First Stamps?

What was your first stamp?
Do you still have it? If so, share a picture!

Here is my first stamp I got on a trip to San Francisco in 1978 (I was 4) and it started my stamping OBSESSION

Brand new stampers too, what stamp inspired you to stamp?

I love trips down memory lane! My first stamps were a set of Chilly Willy stamps with stuff to make notecards my mom ordered off a cereal box in 1964. Wish I still had 'em -- he's very cute! I bought several stamps at a craft sale in 1992 for a church project and I've been hooked since.

My first stamp came from D.O.T.S. One of their demos was giving a class at the local high school. I loved this little bear. I've used the stamp many times, most recently in this card.

My first stamp set was A Little Love from Stampin Up. It too started the obsession for me. I don't have the set anymore since it's not really my style these days...

WOW, great question! I made my first stamp in College way back in the late 70's!! Was taking a graphic reproduction class (printing press & lead type, and photo offset printing!). The teacher showed us how to make rubber stamps using lead type from the printing press, I made one with my name and some with odd little pan/faun like creatures. I still have all of them and use the one with my name on every card I make! It's not looking that great any more so I may have to get a new one! They all sat dirty, unused & forgotten for 20+ years till I got sucked into the whole card making thing! Sorry don't have a photo of them.

Wow I haven't been stamping for as long as some of you gals. I was first introduced to stamping at the end of 2000 I beleive and my first stamp(s) was a Stampin Up set that I don't remember the name off hand right now but it was like 20 some little stamps with things for pretty much every holiday. I still have it and sometimes use it.

I love these posts!

Isn't it funny how taste changes with stamps over time?

I've gone from simple to artsyfartsy to cuter than sugar, and back!

I still hang onto all of them tho, just in case I need country cute or perhaps disembodied hand with postmark for someone special, lol

SU's Button Bear - I finally passed him on to another stamper a couple of years ago. That was 10 years ago and I was not going to get into stamping!

My first stamp was a teddy bear from PSX, I don't have it anymore.
After 10 years of stamping my tastes have/do change and I've sold alot of my older stamps to make room for newer ones

My first stamp(s) were the SU set Happy Fall Y'all.
I still have it and never will part with it just because it was the first stamp(s) I ever bought. ;)

My first stamp was from a stamp party in 1987. PSX Iris.....D474 was the catalog number. When I started to have my own parties in 1989, it was a very popular seller....I guess that is why I remember the number....at least I think that is the number. Grabbed a photo off ebay to show the stamp as mine is WAY down in the stamp room right now. It was purchased along with a present stamp that I used for my first embossed Christmas card.
