Default Floral background stamp

I just want to say, IMHO, I think the Floral bg stamp is going to be the new Paisley. Have you seen the cards in the gallery?! They are awesome beyond words! Check them out!

WOW!!! I had no interest in this stamp before. Now I'm adding it to my wish list. Here's what I saw with my search on "floral". Lots of gorgeous samples - check out those by melmel, jbalcer, beate and mamakimberly among others.

The gallery does definitely bring out the best in this set - it did not look so pretty in the catty; but the cards in the gallery are "wow"! May have to add this to my wish list.

I'm having a hard time waiting on this one!! I will be getting it in a trade with another demo, so I didn't order it last week. Now I'm getting kind of anxious with the waiting, lol! AACK!

I liked this stamp right from the start. It reminded me of the Anna Griffin style. I'm so glad there will be lots of inspiration in the gallery.

I might be crazy, but it looks to me like the stamp impression of the floral background stamp shown in the catalog is a bit different from the impression shown in the sample done on page 124 and from the samples in the gallery here? The background in the gallery looks more lush and filled in, and has pansies and more carnations which do not appear on the catalog image. Anybody agree?

OH, duh, I found the answer to my own question. The catalog says right on the first page of the background stamps that only a portion of the entire background image is shown. Oh, look, and I killed the thread, again!

I'm so glad you figured out that question, Nancy, because it was driving me crazy. The background stamps using Floral were so much prettier than the stamp image in the catalog. They were much more detailed and I couldn't figure out why!

You guys are killing me! I didn't really even give this one a second look in the catty. Now......thinking I'm gonna have to put it on my wish list. Maybe on my first hostess order with the 30% off would work!

The samples in the gallery are amazing. The stamp is so pretty. melmel has really knocked my socks off with her gallery. Jblacer made a gorgeous Christmas card.

It was driving me nuts too! I didn't think too much of that image in the back of the catalog. But when I saw the gorgeous samples in this gallery, I had to order it, and I can't wait to get it!

Want the truth? I didn't even NOTICE it the first 10 times thru the new catty! In fact, I had to do a double take when I started seeing samples in the gallery. I was wondering what stamp they were using; "Must be retired or non-SU" was my thought at first!

Now it's definitely a must have BG stamp - I am totally in love with it!

I think the floral is one of those great "stand alone" type stamps. Seriously, you could just stamp it as a background & use a word stamp in the corner & you'd have a very elegant look!

I wasn't impressed w/ it in the catty either, but when I started seeing it pop up in the gallery I got it! I used it now for 2 of my stamp clubs & so many of the members have purchased it, showing that once you see it -- you've gotta get it!!
