Aw, I had forgotten about this thread. I posted pics of my helpers back in January. Sadly, we lost our old beagle/dachshund last Monday. We miss her, but she was an old, old lady and it was definitely her time. So I only have two furry bodies keeping me company in my craft room most times now. (Three when the cat decides to join the party. ;) )
Our young beagle is a paper thief too. Paper or cardboard she'll grab and run like she's found a treasure. Ridiculous thing.
I'm sorry you lost your old doggie. Even though they get old and sick, we still don't want to lose them. Our 17 year old poodle had surgery for a cancerous tumor, and seemed to do well for several months, and was her happy self, but then it came back again, and we didn't want her to suffer. I'm glad you still have a couple of "helpers".

There was a thread a year or so ago similar topic. I have my Raggies keep me company (wreck havoc) while I craft. Freyr my oldest boy eats everything paper, plastic, ribbons you name it. Freya my sweet girl is much better she like to help with photos. The younger two just watch.

I knew that my hubby would never remember a new name, so we named her Monet II. My daughter calls her Monet, the Perpetual Poodle.
This is so familiar - before my parents were married, my father had a Cocker Spaniel named Mickey. When Mickey died, he got another Cocker Spaniel and named it Mickey II. When my husband and I bought our first Brittany, it was a no-brainer that it would be named Mickey. We had him for 16 great years. However, when we go our second Brit, Mick was still with us so we couldn't carry on the name...

I clicked on the post just to look at all of the sweet pictures. I didn't notice that it was from a while back and then I was taken aback when I saw my sweet beagle. Sadly she passed away about 2 months ago. :-( I just love that picture of her though and it made me smile to think of her sleeping on that pillow.

In March our home became "the old dog's home" for a 10 year old teacup yorkie. He's as playful as a puppy, but just a good old boy. He sleeps on a pillow while I stamp in the basement and likes to be wherever I am. I really enjoy him; I have always thought having a yorkie would be the best and it really is.

Give them a job. My cat Mimi sits on a chair next to me and I have her hold the envelopes. Mai-Ling sits in a basket on my craft table and she holds pens, markers ect.
I am fortunate to have two beautiful "girls" help me out when I create :-) Angel is the black and white one who has to be in everything and follows me everywhere (she is a Momma's girl)..Victoria is a sweet, loving Maine Coon who is the "perfect one" :-) I love having them with me and since my craft room is also my at home office, they are generally with me all day! Could not ask for better helpers :-)
This is such a great thread. Thank you all for posting your pictures, especially the Beagle ones. We lost our Beagle a little over 2 years ago and we're still trying to make up our minds about getting another one. I sympathize with those of you who have recently lost your furry friends and helpers.

Oh my gosh! I want your kitty! She's so beautiful!
So much fun seeing everyone's pics. I have a big black kitty that likes to "help". No pics though.

And sorry about the recent losses :(
She is a blue colour point Ragdoll - a sweetheart to put up with her brothers also Blue Raggies. We just lost our little Flame Raggie to FIP last month.

Aww, wonderful stories and pics of all your furry helpers. My Boston/Beagle always wants to go out as soon as my husband sits at his desk. Or as soon as anyone sits down he needs to bring them a toy and get them to play. My husband and I share a studio and our lil guy Ogim has a basket in here to nap in.
Such a great thread! Love the pics of all your four legged helpers!! So sorry to hear of the losses too. . . we have two "boys" (almost 9 yy pups) that love to help. One sits on my lap and likes to see all I do, the other would rather get me play and pay attention to him. . . They are fun to have around! Our "girls" (passed on about 12+ years ago) were great, they would just come in the room and sleep. . . still miss them terribly but "the boys" are certainly just as lovable!
