In Full Bloom or Can you have too many flower stamps??
It will be my hostess month for my stamping 10 4 10 in April and I am trying to compile my list of sets I want. Tell me why In Full Bloom is such a good addition? I really like it but already have a few flower sets including, DD Daisy, All Natural, and Watercolor Garden. Do you think this is too much overlap of theme? My other choices so far for my month are Collage Alphabet, Fishy Friends, and Canvas Background.
I HAD to get In Full Bloom after seeing all the awesome samples here...that being said, I have a ton of flower stamps already. It depends on how much money you want to spend right now. The other sets you mentiond are must have's in my book too...especially Collage Alphabet. Not much help, sorry
Renee you can NEVER have too many flower sets! I justified getting In Full Bloom by telling myself that it's MUCH different from the countless other florals I own. MUCH might be a little stretch but it is a great set!
I love my In Full Bloom set, more than any of my other flower sets, and I have many.
Having said that, I also love the canvas background stamp. If you can only afford one, then I would buy, if it were me, the canvas stamp, and continue to use the flower sets I have until I had enough to get the other two sets, which are wonderful. The Canvas BG can be utilized with any stamp, it is my favorite BG stamp.
I agree, you can NEVER have too many flower sets. Each set I have gives different looks. I have Spring Garden, All Natural, In Full Bloom, Petal Prints, etc. I love SG and PP for 2-step stamping, and AN and IFB are great for water coloring. I just luv, luv, luv my flower sets!

What?! Too many flower stamps! Absolutely not. I love IFB. I'm glad my daughter has it so I can steal it from her room. I use it more than she does.
Oh no, the other sets I mentioned are not negotiable. I will definitely be getting those in addition to others. In Full Bloom was the only one there that I am wavering on. I will probably go with the sets I listed, In Full Bloom, and some CS and ink pads.

I have to agree with everyone else. I have a ton of flower sets and love them all. My upline told me one time (before I signed up) to get the Birthday Best as my hostess set when I wanted Burst into Bloom because I had enough flower sets and that was before I got IFM, All Natrual, and All the Best. I love the flower sets.
I would say you should go for it and get IFB. I love it, and it is one of the better stamp sets to use the aqua pen with. I just did a workshop yesterday where we made a card with the watercolor pencils, aquapen and IFB, and EVERYONE loved it. It's a real crowd pleaser.
Thanks for asking. I just ordered this set and was wondering if it was a good choice. I too have lots of flower stamps. I have been skipping the flower section of the catalog when I want to buy a new set because I kept thinking that I had enough flowers already. But then I kept seeing all the great samples on here and decided to get it. It will be here on Thursday. I can't wait to play.

Sorry misunderstood. Then do not hesitate, you must get In Full Bloom, I just love it and by the looks of all the other posts, you can see they do as well. I think you found your answer.
If you feel you have too many flower stamps, but like the style of In full Blooms, why don't you go with the set from the mini catalog, that's called Winged things. It's great for watercoloring etc... and has the same look as IFB.
I have way too many flower stamps. I have most of the HA Real Flowers and NEVER EVER use them. The only flower stamps I really like and use often are my Terrific Tulips and In Full Bloom. I have forbid myself from buyin another flower stamp! Now if I could only have that kind of discipline for alphabet stamps! LOL!
You can never have enough background stamps - sooo useful. I would go for either that or the Collage alpha. Both are really versatile.
Candace, I like the way you think! Thanks for the great responses, ladies. I feel that way about flowers too, but sometimes it is hard to justify in my mind. Now I know where to turn when I am having justification problems  .
