Default Gift Card Set: All the same or different?

I want to make a stationary gift set for an upcoming raffle. I have the retired stationary templates in bold brights. I thought I'd use In Full Bloom. My question, do I make all the cards the same? Do I keep the same color theme throughout, but make each card a bit different? I was just wondering what would make the nicer gift.

Thanks.

I do the same....3-4 cards of the same design with 10-12 cards in each set.

When I make card/stationery sets I usually try to keep some element the same so the cards look more like a set -- for example, make the same card design and change the color scheme for each group of 3 or 4 cards, or keep the same color scheme and modify the design (for In Full Bloom, you could make a few cards with each of the large flowers as the focal point). I've also made a set of essentially the same card and just changed the greeting stamped on the front. Hope that helps!

I like the idea of using the same color scheme but each card being different. I personally wouldn't want all the same card. I couldn't give two cards to the same person. Not like I would give them two at once, but what if I only had one or two people that I would actually give cards to.

That probably made no sense!

I think that having each card alittle different is the way to go.
I just did a set of cards as a TY to my SIL mom who bought our bridesmaid dresses for the wedding.

I used Petal Prints and Lexicon of Love
I had monocramatic colour combinations:
Barely Banana/Apricot Appeal flower with stem
Bashful Blue/Night of Navy leaves
Pale Plum/Perfect Plum flower that looks like delphinium (sp?)
Certainly Celery/Always Artichoke leaves
Pretty in Pink/Regal Rose large daisy

Then because there was 2 in each colour I would make sure that they each had a different sentiment from Lexicon of love.
So they ended up all being very similar but different

have fun whatever you choose

Default Currently making 8 sets.

I am currently making 8 sets. All the cards are different, with different paper, color scheme, and different stamps, and techniques,,

couple of the cards are elegant, one masculine, one funky and bold, one scenic,
I still need to make some more to complete, and have not decided yet what I am doing with the next ones.

I am making like a all occasion set, with some samples of my favorite techniques and stamps.

I have done sets with same paper, same stamps , but slightly different and that is fun to...

the fun thing with making 8 sets at one time, I make 8 cards the same and I find I am putting a lot of fun techniques into each card,,, if done individually I would not put so many techinques on each card... it is fun,,,
