I am looking for a gingerbread house stamp. I saw a card posted a month or so ago, found it on line but have since lost it. Does anyone have an idea where to find one?
Thanks so much for all your input. Those are all really nice. I have found one by Artful Stampers that may be the one I am looking for. But I also liked the one by Taylor Expressions. Thanks again for taking your time.
There's a cute one in the Santa's Secret Shoppe set from Doodle Factory at Starvingartistamps. You can get just the gingerbread house for $4.25.
Oh, I should have KNOWN better than to look at this set! :-D LOL!
Thanks, fellow enabler! I not only ordered THAT set but I couldn't resist the Fairy Tale plate, either! Oh, well. Merry Christmas to me, I guess. hehehehe!:-D
Oh, and OF COURSE, I could not just order the gingerbread house!;) I HAD to order the whole plate ( or set, whatever it is)!LOL!!!!!
I'm not sure it's what you are looking for but Martha Stewart had a set of clear stamps with 3 gingerbread houses and gingerbread men.
Have you had any problems using this particular group of stamps. I tried one of the house stamps today and it was horrible. I am going to try different inks and papers and use some of the other tips I've read about on here. Any suggestions for getting it to look like a gingerbread cookie, mostly brown with white icing because I failed miserably.
I'm confused. Do you have a line or set of stamps that are only shown on StampTV? I don't think I ever saw this in your Gina K online store...or am I missing something. It is adorable!

Thank you, I checked it out. It's wonderful! But... I'm not into digital, not that I am not considering it one of these days, I just need to get started sometime. My son loaded photoshop onto my computer and I bought one of those books for "dummies" but haven't made the time to sit down and learn. Is the digital stuff the same as learning Photoshop ? Is there somewhere on line that i can learn some basics, do you know? I do appreciate your link to the site and hope to use it in the future. The gingerbread stuff alone is worth it.

If you learn to use Photoshop, then you can definitely use the digital stamps. You can even just use Microsoft Word to print out the images and then colour as you would a regular stamped image. The beauty of digital is that you can resize, flip directions, and don't take up space in your house for storage. I started out as a digi girl, went to paper, and now use both almost equally.
Well, it's definitely something I'm considering. Lord knows, I'll have all winter to learn. My son will be coming home in the Spring and I'm sure he will teach me. the last time he was home that he loaded it in for me, he was trying to show me but I told him that doesn't really work for me. I would have to do it myself. My grandson worked with the same program in school and wants to show me how to do it as well. I will just have to try and tear him away from his friends and girlfriend one of these days. Thanks for your encouragement. You've made it sound very exciting. I'm really glad that I posted my first message here the other day. I should have read the message board sooner instead of just looking at and admiring everyones creations. They have quite often inspired me and I was thrilled to find all the sketches, too.:mrgreen:
Just a query re the digi stamps. I downloaded the daisiecompany freebies, but when I tried to enlarge them they became fuzzy. I tried to enlarge them in the format they came in, if that makes sense. Do they perhaps have to be downloaded in Photoshop or a particulat program? Any help appreciated.
