No.
Stampin Up sells glossy paper .
It is glossy on one side only and is good for brayering and other projects.
I have never tried photo paper but it is very similar looking to the glossy

SU does sell a Glossy Cardstock. Not sure what other stampers use but I have had very good luck with Photo paper. Got lots of it so thought I would try it. Like doing photos on matte and somehow ended up with a couple boxes of glossy. I'm sure the photo paper may be more expensive than SU!

Just an FYI, I have tried photo paper instead of glossy for some of the techniques and have had it not work.

You cannot heat emboss photo paper! At least not the ones I have tried.

I used the glossy paper and have used the photo paper to make the shaving cream cards. Both came out nicely.

photo paper doesn't brayer with the Kaleidacolors well either. Too blotchy like it's sticking or dragging in places.
