My mom and I were looking at the catty this weekend and we both thought the gnomes were a little creepy. We also thought that one of them (the one sitting on the 'shroom reading, I think) looked like it had gigantic boobs! Alas, they were just gnome gnees!
Oh my gosh,,, I was thinking the same thing when I looked at it,,, how funny,

Now I of course saw this thread prior to seeing the gnomes - but I did think they were cute! I don't love the berry saying would have liked that one without - but now I will have to check out the chest sizes!!!
As for the deliverance children - who has purchased them that they stay in the book? A bunch of us were looking through the new catalog the other day and we all stopped to mention the weirdness of them - a little Polar Express looking - should be animated but have devilish caracteristics to them!

I think they're cute, but I doubt I would buy them.
I think they're the new hedgies... Next year we'll have halloween gnomes... christmas gnomes.... etc. Maybe build-a-gnome.... LOL
Oh Don't tease me!!!! I love the gnomes. But part of it is because I got a book on gnomes when I was in jr high (for you young 'uns - that's what we used to call middle school) :-) Anyway, when I saw the set I was thrilled! I would be beside myself if there were Halloween gnomes & Christmas gnomes...OMG..I'd better sit down :-)
I think the gnomes are cute - but not as cute as they could have been . Just something "sneaky" looking about them. Not sure whether I'll buy the set or not.

Have the gnomes grown on anyone yet, or are there still people opposed to them???!!! :p The more I read these posts, the more endearing the little guys seem to become. Just love the responses, you gals are too funny!!
