I'm like anyone else, I don't want to receive junk, and I certainly wasn't intending on sending any. I had a brand new CM album (5X plus some SU stamp sets and other goodies. Please let me know what to do.

I've been away from the computer for a few days and am late responding but I am glad that the boxes will continue. I have lots of goodies to go into it and I use mainly Stampin Up and Creative Memories so the scrappers in my list should be very happy with what will be going in the box!! I can't wait!! I love goodie boxes!! It's like Christmas when the box arrives!!
I know that some people have not been to excited about the contents of the goodie box they received, but it was never stated that this was an only Stampin'Up exchange. What one person considers valuable, another may consider useless. The idea is to take what you like and replace with items that you would like to receive. There are alot of different preferences out there, so if nothing in the box inspires or challenges you to think outside of the box (even though I can't imagine there wouldn't be something) just add to the box and pass it along, you might find the next person in line likes different items than you do. Please keep in mind the spirit in which this chain was started, don't spoil it for someone else because your expectations weren't met. I have always believed that crafters are the most sharing and caring people out there.

I didn't get on the computer all weekend, but there are no new PM's pertaining to this. I'm sure my outburst slowed things down. I do apologize for that. I'll be sure to update when I get some infor.
I haven't checked in for a little while, but I am still anxiously awaiting the box to arrive at my house. I hope it gets here before Thanksgiving or Christmas. Shipping around the holidays is never fun, but if I have to, I will do it. I am just really excited, and looking forward to getting it.

I thought the same thing, I was really think it would be here around my b-day(0ct 22) but I was WAY OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess I need to practice a little more patience.
I would have thought it would have gone quicker myself. I started the box over 4 weeks ago. I see it is still with the third person (?). I thought it was only to stay with someone three days max. (?). Sorry for those waiting patiently, I too am excited to see what is left and what is new. Please whoever has the box, please ship it to the next person ASAP. This is taking a might longer than expected.

HELLO ONERAINY DO YOU HAVE THE BOX??? I'M NEXT AND NOT VERY PATIENT OR HAVE BEEN PATIENT ENOUGH. PLEASE SEND THE BOX TO ME SO WE CAN GET THIS DONE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!
I hate complaining, and here I have become a big complainer. I don't know why I am even checking to see where the box is because at this point, I will be lucky to see the box before Christmas. Please whoever has both of them now, please send them on to the next person asap. We shouldn't be holding on to these boxes more than a day or two at the most. I know it doesn't take the mail people this long to get to you. I know without a doubt that whoever I send the box to, it will be going flat rate priority mail because the flat rate is $7.70, and I will get delivery confirmation to make sure that it gets there. I would like to receive the box before I move to another city two hours away in January.

I sent out my box at least two weeks ago, There was a short delay in my timing because we were all talking about ending it because of the items in the box were just not worth sending or going ahead...so I was adding a few things to the box and I had an extra day or two delay due to my back injury, but other than that, it should have gotten to it's destination within 3 days from me!!! I sent it to Megansmum, she even emailed me her addy to make sure I got it right, so I just printed it off from the computer!! So, I know it was right, but no, I didn't do a delivery confirmation, I didn't even think about doing that. Has anyone heard from Cindy if she got it and mailed it?? She would be the one to contact now.
Hope this gets straightened out! I was in the scrap/stamp box swap.
I think it would be a good idea to limit the time someone can hold onto the box too...I know life happens...so maybe 3-7 days at the MOST before sending it on? I have a good amount of goodies to add in and am anxious to get the box!!

Take heart everyone!! I just looked up the first Goodie Box thread started by Granny Hawkins, and even though those boxes started in JULY, they are just now finishing up! I think this just takes a while and that we should expect it to be Christmas or later before it is completed.

I have been watching this thread and biting my lip everytime I read your posts about how excited you were about the box. Well, I will finally share my expierence with the box. I cried when I opened it. I did not take one thing out. I put in some of my things because I did not I feel I could pass it forward to others with the stuff that was in it. We asked for quality mainly SU products, it wasn't there. Please don't be too disappointed. I paid $12 for the box to be sent and the money of the SU items I put in there. HTH. Kari

Well, it does look like they are gone. I have sent PM's and gotten unhappy responses from people that have opened the boxes. To answer your question, at this point, I don't think we do anything. I have just chalked up the items as gone. They were mainly things I had accidentally bought two of. I thought they were very nice, but I didn't need two, so I figure I cleaned things out. I certainly can't make anyone do anything, and the last people on the list tell me th boxes were mailed quite a while ago. So.....
Live and learn.
Its really sad that we can't trust our fellow members here at scs to follow simple rules and not take advantage of the situation. I'm very sad. This isnt' fair to anyone else who joined and I certainly will not participate in one again. I joined Granny Hawkins and was very diappointed in what was in the box. And now I dont even get the box... I'm certainly not blaming anyone except for the one that ruined this for everyone else.
Do you know what I think is bad....The total lack of communication and the lack of Lynne to tell you all that we have been in touch about this. I have recieved slanderous emails calling me a thief and making accusations against my character. I may not post here a whole lot...But I di check my email daily and have responded to Lynne on numerous occasions with a return notification that she has in fact read the private messages that I have sent to her. I will admit that the box stayed with me a little longer than usual but by no means was I stealing or keeping anything. For those of you waiting to recieve the box, I do apologize for the delay...There are events in life that happen that do take precidence over other things. I do have a life and have emergencies happen. I dont have time to sit at a mailbox and become impatient waiting on a package ( that is a big disapointment I might add) for crap that people would not even use themselves. I am downright annoyed that I spent over 13.00 mailing this package and I got not a thing out of it but rude and slanderous emails that should have NEVER been sent...and Julie....before you go calling people a thief and sending emails like you sent me....People will not be as kind as I am right now....and to all that you told that I steal from fellow SCS....I would not even give whats in that box to my dog to pee on..... on that note...I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and wish you all to review all the blessings you have recieved this year...
THis box was sent priority mail and was insurred for 100.00...The email that I recieved tonight was totally uncalled for...I have responded to Lynne's messages whenever she sent them...RETURN CONFIRMATION ON EACH mind you....so how dare you all send me emails accusing me of being a thief...you should all be ashammed of yourselves.....who would want to keep what was in that box....things I would never use...I didnt take anything out...only put items in...I guess this is the thanks that I get....and I see the true colors of others on this board. It is a VERY SAD situation...I am posting a copy of the email I recieved from Mrs HUNT...with her STOLEN remarks....how dare you....

I am very shocked at the email I was sent . I am going to send you a copy of the slanderous accusations that have been sent to me...Like I am a thief and am keeping this goodie box that was sent and I have the reciept for sending....Insured at that...How dare you all accuse me like this...I want a PUBLIC apology for this...I have responded to each and every email that has been sent to me...and alll the private messages with a confirmation on EVERY ONE OF THEM.....I am so mad about this right now....YOU HAVE NO IDEA...

Hello....Yes...I went ahead and mailed out the box...I sent it regular mail...I think media the postmaster suggested....Jill should be getting it any day now....Thanks
