Has anyone received a grab bag for hosting a Nov. SU party? What did you get? I am hosting a party soon and can't wait to see what goodies arrive!!
Not quite creative
I've seen a grab bag. It had a package of die cut boxes, a small embossing tray and the brush, 2 Stampin' Write markers, Large Circle eyelets and a package of assorted cardstock.
I have another Hostess who just earned it and I'm curious to see if she'll get the same stuff.
I get one coming with my order on Monday the 14th. I'll have to keep checking this post and see what people get and let everyone know what I get.

I got the same things! I was so excited I was going to post about it but see that it's already old news! ;) I don't have any markers so yippee for me! And I didn't have the tray so double yippee for me! I'm thrilled!
Since it is all retired(and I already have small powder pal) I'm going to use mine as door prizes for my Christmas Scrapbook classes. By the way, why is the small powder pal in there anyway? It's nor retired. Do you think they made too many up for the embossing special?

I was a hostess last night who will be getting a grab bag later next week. I am super excited to see what it is!!! I'll let you guys know if it is anything different than above.

The powder trays come large and small together. They used the large ones for the embossing promotion, so all the small ones are leftovers. At least, that's what I read in another thread.

Actually, the promo included the small tray and brush - I think they just had lots extra.
The stampin up web site says the promo is good only in the US. As far as the $350 amount, I am not sure where I came up with the amount!! Perhaps from my demo's newsletter.

The flyer in the Demonstrator area of the SU site says:
"This month only, when you host a workshop that totals at least $350, you will receive a FREE grab bag of Stampin' Up merchandise, worth at least $30.00!"
This is what I see on their website. Unfortunately I don't have access to the demo section yet. Still waiting my demo number

They really should state the $350 amount above for those who are non-demos to see!
I think that is why is says "qualifying workshop", and not just workshop. I think the idea is when you contact your demo, they have more information for you. My demo was very clear about the $350 amount. But it wouldn't hurt to say it in the promo too.

I got my bag today. Inside my bag I got an embossing tray & brush. A Mauve Mist craft ink refill, 2 markers, a package of Earth Elements cardstock & the pillar box/tag sheets.
I'm really excited about the cardstock since I use EE the most.
My girlfriend got one - pillar boxes, 2 markers, package of SS Cardstock, the tray and brush and a stampin' around wheel.

Why did she make things? Well, she enjoyed it, of course; it also somehow helped her remember who she was and where she came from.
I got the small powder pal tray and brush. Also, Baroque Burgandy and bliss Blue markers, a pack of BB cardstock, mini gable boxes in SS and large circle eyelets. Since I added orders to my stamp club order, I got the grab bag!
I just got a small powder pal and brush, large oval eyelets, mint melody and bliss blue markers, rich regals 8.5 x 11 CS and Rich Regals Pillar boxes and tags.
I was excited b/c I really didn't want art pencils - and wanted another powder pal and like the eyelets. Guess I got lucky. They must just have tons of these made up and sitting around just waiting.....probably just randlomly pull a bag - so never know which you'll get.
Did you see on the SU website that they extended this promo until
Dec. 16th? I was surprised. I wish they would send us an email to let us know incase we are not on every day. I wish we knew ahead of time what the monthly specials were, too. I know my customers buy alot more if they get to see it and try it out first.
My grab bag included a pkg of Baroque Burgundy CS, Busy Blocks jumbo wheel, die cut boxes, rich regal buttons, 1 pkg of 12 Art pencils and a blank 8.5 x 11 calendar. Not bad, I was happy with it.
I just did a SAS class and didn't qualify... was really hoping and didn't have the $$$ to up the order (needed $100) could have really used a few of those things for an "incentive" for those 3 that did order!!
My friend got SS pillar box & tags, EE asst. cardstock, rose romance craft reinker, rose romance marker, mint melody marker, & powder pal with brush. She was happy! I was hoping she'd get a bliss blue reinker so I could buy it off her!
