Zazzle (kind of like cafepress) pulled some kind of deal with the USPS and can now issue real actual genuine postage stamps. So you just upload your design and you're done! Has anyone tried this yet?
It looks like they have one of those 3D barcode thingies on them so they can be scanned to verify that they're real stamps.
to use a picture of your baby on birth announcements/thank yous, or you and your new hubby on wedding announcements/thank-yous. Or if you had a cute picture of the person you were sending a birthday card too. OH! And Birthday Party Invites!
OH! Even your kids or family for Christmas Cards! How darling would that be?! FOR FUN!
Thanks for sending this! I don't know why this just got me so excited, but it did! LOL
One sheet of photo stamps including tax and everything was 19.98. You get 20 stamps per sheet. I guess we have to suck it up
Yep. Sucked it up for Christmas cards last year with photostamps. Had my kids pic put on the stamps....EVERYONE loved them. The kids certainly thought it was COOL to be on the mail.
This is interesting to hear that it's still around. The USPS offered this service for a while, but were (I thought) going to discontinue it due to the threat of imitiations and inappropriate subject matter. Perhaps Zazzle has a better system?

Photostamps also had to suspend their system for awhile, brought it back as a "test" period and discontinued until just a month ago having stated that they along with the PO had to "evaluate" the program. I bet the bugs have been worked out after all this trial and error (inappropriate pics, etc).
