Ever get a set that really didn't appeal to only to wonder what you did without it?
I got Summer by the Sea for two reasons 1) to demo for March special 2) watercoloring technique class. What I never imagined was hat I would fall head over heals for this set.
What set did you think 'nah not doing anything for me' only to then eat your words?

I did the same thing with All Wrapped Up and the Accessories-I bought it then thought -what was I thinking?
I have made several cards and am planning on doing a demo on it at my next workshop-I thought with summer coming the jar and the ladybugs would be cute!!
I love Summer by the Sea -so many things you can do with it -I agree with you that the watercoloring techniques works really good with that set-Especially the girl in the flower field!!

I know what you mean I ordered it just because it as on sale and I could demo it. I fell in love with both Summer by the Sea + Shapes & Shadows. I have Simple Shapes coming next week.

I just love that stamp with the girl in the hat. I had debated not getting the set, but we LIVE near the beach, and I want it to practice watercoloring.
SOLD!
And, you know ... I might have to add a few things to my order, to make the shipping worth it.
I didn't like shapes & shadows at all... just not my style! But since it's 50% off and I'm a demo... I thought... what the heck, I'll get and I can at least make some samples with it. Now I can't put it down!!! I just love it!!!

I bought In The Wild because my DH went to Africia this past August and he wanted me to make some cards for him. I didn't really care for it, but I got it anyway. I used it for a MNT at a workshop last month and sold 2 of them.
