Default Has this ever happened to you?

Ever get a set that really didn't appeal to only to wonder what you did without it?
I got Summer by the Sea for two reasons 1) to demo for March special 2) watercoloring technique class. What I never imagined was hat I would fall head over heals for this set.
What set did you think 'nah not doing anything for me' only to then eat your words?

I did the same thing with All Wrapped Up and the Accessories-I bought it then thought -what was I thinking?
I have made several cards and am planning on doing a demo on it at my next workshop-I thought with summer coming the jar and the ladybugs would be cute!!
I love Summer by the Sea -so many things you can do with it -I agree with you that the watercoloring techniques works really good with that set-Especially the girl in the flower field!!

For me it was shapes & shadows, just didn't see the attraction. I do now!

I know what you mean I ordered it just because it as on sale and I could demo it. I fell in love with both Summer by the Sea + Shapes & Shadows. I have Simple Shapes coming next week.

Ok, that did it. I'm getting Summer by the Sea!

I just love that stamp with the girl in the hat. I had debated not getting the set, but we LIVE near the beach, and I want it to practice watercoloring.

SOLD!

And, you know ... I might have to add a few things to my order, to make the shipping worth it.

Summer by the Sea is a great set!!!

I didn't like shapes & shadows at all... just not my style! But since it's 50% off and I'm a demo... I thought... what the heck, I'll get and I can at least make some samples with it. Now I can't put it down!!! I just love it!!!

Actually, there are two that I just didn't care for. The samples inside the mini weren't exactly bad, just not what you guys normally do.

So, to all those who have made absolutely fabulous cards, SU! thanks you for the additional purchase of:

In Full Bloom and Paint Prints (ok so I didn't purchase it but I could have bought a whole lot less than I did so I could get it, so that counts)

You guys are all so inspired sometimes, I swear!

I bought In The Wild because my DH went to Africia this past August and he wanted me to make some cards for him. I didn't really care for it, but I got it anyway. I used it for a MNT at a workshop last month and sold 2 of them.
