Hat Pins

I'm sure I read somewhere on here about end caps for hat pins. Can anyone point me in the right direction for that thread?

bumping - I've always wondered about this, too. Hopefully someone will know - I've even thought of covering the "end" with a hunk of clay that air dries but that might be too bulky? Thanks!

They are called "Clutches". Here is a link to show you what they look like

You can also use bugle beads (like a tube instead of round). They make several lengths, and the short ones are perfect for this and much cheaper than the clutches. I adhere mine with a dab of Glossy Accents. (I got this idea from another thread here; I believe AngelNorth is the one who suggested it.)

I like using the bugle beads too, it looks like it was designed that way! But, if I want the recipient to remove the stick pin I use the clutches

You can also use earring backs. The ones that are clear plastic. You can find those at WalMart and most jewelry depts in any store.
