have you received notification that your PTI order shipped?
i ordered on the 16th...so far no notification that my order has shipped.....maybe there weren't any sent? i want those jar fillers soon !! and patience is NOT a virtue i possess.
It is not unusual that they did not send notification. Did you get a confirmation e-mail for your order? If so, then no worries. You would only get a notification if it shipped by UPS. Also, you ordered a day after the big release - on the 15th. They are likely still working on sending out the release day orders. Basically, if you don't get a shipment notification, it means it is shipping via USPS and will just show up on your doorstep (hopefully by the end of this week). I ordered about 45 minutes after the release went live at midnight EST on the 15th and I have not yet received my package (which I assume is shipping USPS).
I was going to say the same thing, sometimes there is no notification. Another thing is when I get a UPS shipping notice from PTI, it does not say PTI anywhere on it. Obviously that they didn't fill that part in, it says this notice is from MY COMPANY NAME.
Good luck! I do not wait well either!
I ordered on the 15th and received a notification on Friday that it had shipped. The tracking states that it didn't get picked up until yesterday, though. When I order from PTI I usually don't get a shipping notification either. :( I'm hoping my stuff will come in by Wednesday or Thursday. Hopefully your order isn't too far behind.
The few times I've ordered from PTI - by the time I email asking for shipping information - the blasted thing is on my doorstep! What great customer service, by the way. My emails always get answered in a timely manner. And .. I love the stamps and dies.
I got lucky this month. I ordered about 11:15 PM Central time on the 14th and already for my order yesterday! To bad I have no time to play this week! I was really impressed as I dont usually get orders that quick at release time. I did get a shipment notification email.
I just got a notification that mine shipped by usps. This is strange because I ordered lots and lots of paper and they always send the heavy boxes by ups.
I ordered the 15th, and I received a shipping notice the 17th. Which was completely surprising to me, since this is the first time I have received one, and I have been ordering from them for approximately two years.
did anyone get a usps notification that seemed "odd"? i deleted the notification (it went to my spam file) because it had an odd message line (something about an error) and after opening the email, it had an additional link that did not come across (to me) as legitimate. i'm now wondering if it was my ship notification. i ordered late on the 15th (my first PTI order, totally didn't realize it was a release day!). hoping my stamps arrive soon...i'm ready to get inky!
Unfortunately I DID get an email saying that my 'winnings' will not ship for 4-6 weeks!!! How disappointing that is to have to wait that long - I know it is not a paying order but still............I am definitely grateful that I won the drawing but still I was hoping to get the stamps in time to use for Christmas!!!!
I ordered about 12:15 a.m. on the 15th; got a shipping notification on the 16th that my order would ship on the 18th.
Oh, Margaret, I certainly hope your package doesn't take that long to get to you! I can't imagine winning everything from that wonderful release and then having to wait so long to receive it.

Wonder why? I wonder if they put it after the paid orders and figure they'll need to wait that long to get everything that will be on back order. Interesting!
I just placed mine this am. Probably will show up at my door a week from today. I dont always get a shipping notice but I always get the goods..lol
blessings.
I ordered on the 16th and got an email on the 18th that USPS was notified electronically to expect shipment. Today when I checked Track & Confirm it says it was processed through the Cincinnati sort facility at 5:30 last evening. I was so hoping it would come today. Maybe tomorrow!
If it is coming by usps copy the tracking number and go into the usps site. Over on the right hand side it will say track and confirm. When you click on that, it will take you to a screen where you can paste the tracking number in.
I have not been able to find out much although mine has been shipped as of the 20th.
a week later i have now received notification from PTI including a legitimate tracking number (as opposed to the original usps notification that may have been a hoax). my stamps shipped yesterday (or maybe today, it was difficult to tell). kind of disappointed it's taken this long to receive legitimate notification and taking this long to ship.
I received a shipping notification on the 18th, but today the package is finally scanned in the mail stream in Ohio. I was hoping to have my goodies this weekend, Oh well.
I placed an order on the 17th and was notified on the 18th that it was sent through USPS. I checked the tracking info and it was ALMOST here but on the 22nd the last of the info lists missent! I have no idea where my package is! Does anyone know who I should I call~PTI or the post office? At one point, the tracking info said out for delivery.
Detailed Results:

Good luck to all who are waiting for their goodies!
I don't think either PTI or the USPS can do anything about your package right now. The USPS will just have to get it's act together and get your box on the right truck! A few months ago my order went through FL before it got to me, and I live in northern Ohio, just a three-hour drive north of PTI's warehouse in Cinci. Florida was a LONG way out of the way! That's not PTI's fault, though. It was the Post Office through and through.
For everyone else still waiting, Jenn posted on PTI's forum that this month they were completely slammed with orders - as many in the first 2 days as they usually have in an entire release week! The company is making products people want to buy, and is evidently growing exponentially. Good for them! She also mentioned that they have brought in extra help to try to get the orders out the door as fast as possible.
Everyone's order will show up in it's turn, no matter how badly we want it to be delivered overnight. Mine, however, will take a while. I didn't order until the 18th, and have just gotten my shipping notice today.

I ordered on the 15th. I did not want or expect it overnight. But when I get notice on the 19th that it is being shipped and 4 days later the status is the same and there is no package, then something is not right.

I am very happy for PTI that they have gotten "slammed" and their popularity has increased (apparently dramatically). I have been watching the PTI forum carefully to see what is going on and understand the delivery problems. HOWEVER, there have been a few instances of false notification (not saying this is the fault of PTI), cancelled notifications (this may come back to the shipper), and an all around LACK of notification. I can understand delays due to a rush of shoppers. I cannot understand all of the problems with notifications...or that it took a week before I received any notification from the company. I have ordered from overseas during holiday season...and received my items in less time than it will take before I receive that which I paid for from PTI. Not blaming any one entity...but there are obviously issues here between all parties that need to be worked out to get product to the customer.

The overnight delivery comment was said tongue-in-cheek. I didn't mean to offend anyone or indicate a lack of patience on your part.
Hopefully I can add something to help here. I've been selling extra "stuff" on eBay recently, and had a conversation with a USPS employee regarding shipping. Here's what I was told:
The "tracking number" is not an actual tracking number. It is a delivery confirmation number. If a postal employee happens to scan your package while it is in transit, then that information will show up when you enter the number in the USPS tracking system. If no employee has scanned the package, it won't register as in the "mail stream" until it is scanned at delivery. The employee told me that the only way to guarantee that the package is scanned when it is accepted at the Post Office is to walk into the Post Office personally, stand in line, hand the package to a clerk, and ask them to scan it right then. Even so, it might not be scanned again until delivery, but with my eBay sales at least my buyer can see online that I've fulfilled my part of the sale. I've been making special trips to the Post Office to do this, even though it takes more time, and I've been watching the online "tracking" progress to see the difference between packages personally accepted by a clerk and those just dropped in the outside blue box. The packages that I just drop in the box sometimes take a couple of days to register as being in the mail system, even though I absolutely know that they are somewhere in the PO's possession.
How does this translate to PTI's situation? I really doubt that a postal employee in Cincinnati would be willing to individually scan each of the thousands of packages PTI ships in a release week, so unfortunately we have to wait until our package is scanned somewhere during its journey. I've personally had packages, from PTI and from other stores, delivered and sitting on my porch before the delivery confirmation/tracking number shows any activity at all, and plenty of other people have posted the same situation. This very week I've been tracking a purchase from several states away, and the first time it was scanned was today, only 2 hours away from where I live. It is not the fault of the store.
What also seems to cause confusion is that fact that when a shipping label is printed, the delivery confirmation number is created, but it does not mean that the PO has already picked up the shipment (or that it has been dropped off at a PO). It has been discussed on the PTI forum in the past that PTI prints off a certain-sized batch of shipping labels, then works from that stack of labels to pick and pack the boxes. But when a customer sees online that a delivery confirmation number has been created, they expect that it is already on a PO truck. The West Coast order I mentioned previously had a delivery confirmation number issued several days ago, but the package wasn't scanned for the first time until today in the same state where I live. It has been moving toward me for a while, just wasn't scanned, so I had no idea where it was.
I order quite a bit online, and know firsthand how hard it is to wait for a purchase, but they all do eventually make it. Hope everyone has a nice evening!
My notification never showed any movement, and I got my package on Monday!
I've had this happen before, too. Not this time but on previous orders. So I don't panic if it looks like my package is immobile 'cause that's probably not the case.
I checked tracking today and it looks like I'll get delivery today (I hope!). I'm in Western PA.
i cant even find a tracking #....altho from what i read on the PTI boards, the usps tracking is not very reliable. hmmmm, ups does a fine job with that.....maybe a lesson here?
i sooooooo want my felt and the holiday jar fillers.......maybe monday.
