I need ideas from both demos and just plain old stampers. I'm having an open house and I want things to be jazzy, even if only 3 people come. I am thinking of a tile and a card with PE (two ladies are fascinated by the "idea" of PE, but have yet to try it, so I have to do one project with PE) and I need something else. I'm hoping to parlay this into a monthly stamp club.
All suggestions since this thing is Saturday, will be entertained.
How about a gift card holder (my demo did this once...sample in my gallery, uses the slit punch!) and/or one of the new techniques we've learned here this week!
The new techniques are more than not an option since I don't have the chalks and Oxy is too expensive here. They don't sell the smaller cans like they did in CA, just the industrial Sam's Club size.
This may not seem super jazzy, but I had great success with a monogram card using a background stamp and a 6 x 6 scrapbook card at a recent workshop. Sold 3 alphabet sets and 3 background stamps! The ladies were wowed by the ease and versatility.
You could wrap full-size Hershey bars in a Valentine's theme. Use a stamped 6x6 CS square as the base wrapper and embellish with ribbon and a tag. It's so cute... and easy, too!
How about the fruit cups? I just bought some recently and am going to give one of these decorated cans to a new hostess. I want to wow her and her guests since this will be my first time meeting them. Based on the reaction they have gotten on this site I think they will be a big hit!

I think PE on dark colors always looks good-you may want to try it with Paint Prints if you have it since it is a SAB set to boost them up to getting it.
realtively easy Workshop WOWs have been:
*vellum candle boats (especially embossed if you are feeling brave with *new stampers! LOL)
*twist containers
*the popcorn type candy wrpas (where you pull the ribbon and the whole thing pulls up) but I am doing mine with the small KitKats from teh dollar store (2 bars not 4-and they are 10 for $1)-it uses a lot less ribbon then the popcorn cover
*nuggets wheeled and wrapped in address labels and then in a clear envelope I make it into a little bag (helps sell the clear envelopes as well ) or you could use a bag topper
*crimped gift card holders with SU envelopes
*anything with a fancy fold.
Hope that jelps you WOW them :P

Okay, so I name now ~ it's going to be called "Stamp Club Preview" so a couple of wow projects are designed to get people wanting to come back each month. Anyone like that idea?
I just posted a card in my gallery with PE that was one of my 10-10 cards, and also used for a WS. Very easy with minimal mess! But still a wow, as the PE shows up so well on black. (The greeting is retired, so you could just use another one.)

Diane,
You right click on the image of the card, and then choose "Copy Shortcut" from the menu. Then you can just paste the link in your post.

Thank you, Happy Heart! I had tried to add it as an attachment, but it kept telling me it was too large. I am still new to some of this computer stuff :(
